RE: RE : Twitter Wire logging10 Jun 2019 17:55
I would hazard a guess at suggesting there would be some news broadcast when the final TD has been reached successfully and without incident, therefore assume we are not there.
Lat weekend (Sunday) they started drilling again after running the casing to the second casing point at about 1500m. That leaves 600m to drill in total and about 200m to reach the gas area. I don't know the extent of the expected gas zone but if it were 50 m then they will have drilled say 250m in a week. This is not the biggest most powerful rig in the world, neither does it have to be, Progress the deeper they go will in general slow down, but typically ROP between 30-50m (Average 40) a day would give us 6days+, therefore my estimate of being ready to log the gas section by about now, 7 days of drilling since last sunday and then pooh and set up the wireline. In theory there should be another 350m or so to drill which will take us another week+ once the logs have been taken and recorded for this section. I have no idea whether the wireline unit will stay on site or go away and come back, I guess it will depend upon whether there is more work for it during the coming week, but folk should not be alarmed if they see it leaving say around weds. I am not looking at twitter or other theories, just applying logic. If there is an oil bearing zone they will see evidence in the mud returns once the zone is reached. No concerns from me at the mo
