P/E ratio of 6 (yes six) and dividend yield of 5% with a large cash pile as well. But people still buy Lloyds. Weird.

Compared to ITX (bonkers recently) this is positively pedestrian but as you say could well jump on no news whatsoever. Or as a delayed market reaction to the excellent update as happens sometimes.

Do you have any other holdings you think might bear fruit more quickly? Mine all seem really unpredictable … ENET, ITX, COG and the perennial poop Open Orphan!!

I’ve bought another £1k worth today. Can’t see how I won’t double my money on current price although it’s a concern that the recent trading update didn’t really shake the share price from its slumber.

After the next results we’ll probably have. P/E ratio and everything! Madness.

Incidentally, there will most likely be a trading update in three weeks’ time. These have tended to be extremely positive affairs so anyone thinking about investing or adding here might want to work around this. I.e another positive update might raise the SP. Or vice versa.

In 2020 it was 27th Feb and in 2021 it was the first few days of March. They are always really predictable/punctual with their reporting and updates, unlike many other AIM companies.

I can’t see it as anything other than a well considered “tax efficiency” measure. She can still buy and sell them as she pleases. But with a PE ratio of 6-7 and a dividend yield of 5%, she would be hard pressed to find a better medium term investment than FinnCap, even if she did sell some. I still can’t believe more people don’t want in on this at these levels. Absolutely baffling.

After selling half of my shares recently I’ve been gobsmacked by the recent SP decline on absolutely no news since the excellent trading update.

So I’ve added some more at today’s ludicrous giveaway prices to take me up to 100k shares. This may not be the very bottom yet but it’s a ludicrous bargain I think. Just mad for a profitable company to lose 33% in 6 months and more than 10% in the last week alone.

Could the SP actually rise today for once? About time we got some good news.

You must be psychic. … well at least today’s RNS can be classed as good news, a nugget in a recent sea of turds !!!

Financial highlights copied here - will read the detail later after I’ve done the school run. Happy days but watch the SP get marked down as usual !!

Group Trading and Highlights

· H1 Revenues up 44% to £9.7 million

· EBITDA before exceptional items up 120% to £0.8 million

· Profit before exceptional items of £0.4 million (H1 2021: £0.1 million)

· £18.3 million of contracted forward revenues over four years, up 250% from 31 December 2020, with £5.3 million converting into revenue during H2 2022

· The Board expects to trade broadly in-line with market expectations for the full year

Great that more are starting to buy in here, although no doubt a number will just be trading it up. Pity the SP is still criminally low though as a result of the placing.

I still think the market treated this placing as it would a placing for working capital. Remember ours was for an acquisition - one that was declared as contributing to the bottom line from day 1 as well.

I’m confident that this will be borne out in the next trading statement (expected in Feb) or interim results (expected in 2nd week of March).

Probably unlikely, but I am wondering if the FDA have held onto their decision until after the verdicts in the Elizabeth Holmes case, announced earlier?

No real reason why they should other than the fact that some of the claims made about the Edison machine sound ostensibly similar to what Parsortix can ACTUALLY deliver. Something to muse on while we wait for news at least. Happy New Year to all.

It’s always good to be noticed. Some other interesting ones on here as well. I previously held STX but lost my conviction the longer their accrufer saga dragged on. By all accounts an excellent iron remedy though.
