Time for some O level maths!
Sept RNS indicated production over the previous 6 months (181 days) of 751140 cu metres of gas-am ignoring condensate sales for the purposes of this (hopefully clarifying note). Today's RNS mentioned current production levels-so that was what I have to work with.
If you go to Calculator.org and type in 751140 cu metres it will convert to MwH.
This comes to 7924.527 MwH.
This at 105 euros per MwH (or a bit less either way) =832,075 euros over the next full 6 month period.
Divide this figure by 6 (monthly revenue figure) and you get 137,912 euros per month over the next 6 months.
The estimate in today's RNS of at least 100,000 euros a month NET (given a gross figure of over 137,00 seems about right?)
I know many are right p$$$ ed off with AST but let's please accept that for once this is good news, at least while prices hold-bad news of course for domestic and industrial gas users.
Who knows what future games Putin will be playing with supplies once central european winters really kick in?
