Thurg, I wouldn’t necessarily say my posts (and others) are negative. They are fact based. If the facts don’t gel with your vision of what VlS will look like going forward, then I’m sorry about that.
I’ve said all along that BA and Shell are in this for punt/PR money and given how much time has passed, the need for VLS to seek alternative methods of funding, reinforces my beliefs.
Just think about VLS for a second. It is made up of highly paid (some very highly paid) executives, who have a piece of tech that they have been trying to flog for years, unsuccessfully. They’ve now resorted to being a hot shot renewable fuels company, trying to build over a billion dollars worth of projects, without any prior experience, meanwhile expecting shareholders to pay them handsomely. It’s not actually a business, it’s more of a consultancy company, without any clients.
However. In the current climate, with continued and increased focus on the environment, Vls has the potential to continue its practices, despite the long term probability of pulling off a project as being slim to none (imho), to spike on news and drift around and provide entries and exits for those willing to punt.
