As for Henrick, VLS has been 'accelerating' for years. An oil tanker has better acceleration that VLS' commercial deployment.

Hot air. They’ve been ‘ looking to bring these projects to fruition ...’ for years now, without any luck. Meanwhile other in the space have secured $100’s of million in investment.

Of significant interest in that webinar was the Eqtec presentation. VLS need to take a leaf out of EQT’s book on the topic of comms. Look at their latest RNS today; this is what comms need to be.

The challenge VLS have with comms is there is nothing to comment on! But they could do a better job nonetheless.

To aid in the completion of the Red Rock Biofuels facility in Lakeview, the Port of Morrow Board of Directors voted to authorized up to $65 million of revenue-generating bonds for the Red Rock facility, including up to $10 million in private activity bonds from the Port.”

This tells me that they’ve run out of money and have gone to the Bond market to secure more funding. Pretty obvious really.

It’s pretty clear from that, that RR are struggling with funding. This probably explains why the push back to year end has been stated. An authorised bond is one thing, but bond proceeds in the bank is another.

Unfortunately VLS have not proven the waste to fuel technology at any scale. Yes, they have their own reactors which have operated on natural gas, one of which failed due to a cooling leak. However the full waste to fuel process has not been done. Couple this with a poor track record of raising finance and attracting investors, it becomes clear why they continue to struggle. The only thing holding them up at the moment is sentiment. They need to advance their project and find the white knight investor pdq.

IM, I assume that given you cannot counter what I posted below with fact, then I win this one. Please come back when you have a solid, factual response.

That’s because despite hogging all the media, taking Gov cash and getting a mention from the Transport Minister himself at a COVID briefing, they still haven’t made progress on the investor front abs have in fact lost Shell.
This competition is aimed at the new kids in the block, not the laggards.

Also, note the reference to Policy needs from Morris:

Given VLS have not managed to secure the remaining balance of the F4C competition (for whatever reason) and with Shell pulling out of the project a few months back, Id say its not quite as rosy as it first reads.
The last criteria and VLS's ability to meet it, will be questionable.

Still, assuming Grant Shapps is still a VLS fan, there might be the potential for VLS to win a million or two, thus kicking the fund raise and dilution down the road..

Thurg, I’m not going to do your homework for you, but have a look at some of the news article comments from Henrick and Neville Hergraves. They all mention the need for critical government policy for AltAlto to be a success.

Trashing? My last comment was fact. I like this stock, but they are slipping away due to a lack of activity. The biggest issue with VLS is that the policy they need to make this work for them is not here. They’ve stated this on several occasions.

Probably more like Fulchrum with their backers including, BP, Essar, Japan Airlines, Marubeni, United Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways etc.

Probably not VLS with a guy who can’t get a Uk passport and an Airline that is piling money into other SAF companies.

With little or no news on the horizon (unless a Shell replacement is found), I cant see this share going anywhere but south.
The only near term pump might come from another F4C grant, but given no progress since the last hand out, I do not see this coming anytime soon.
