Huge asset for GSK, and one that is worth a dam site more than they paid, as results will show in the next 3 years
GSK also believes PARP inhibitors offer significant opportunities for use in the treatment of multiple cancer types. In addition to ovarian cancer, Zejula is currently being investigated for use as a possible treatment in lung, breast and prostate cancer, both as a monotherapy and in combination with other medicines, including with TESARO's own anti-PD-1 antibody (dostarlimab, formerly known as TSR-042).
In addition to Zejula, TESARO has several oncology assets in its pipeline including antibodies directed against PD-1, TIM-3 and LAG-3 targets.

Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has drawn up plans to take action against Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) over an unpaid tax bill, the size of which was unclear on Thursday evening.
The move raises questions over the future of a business which employs more than 800 people and provides critical services to Britain's aviation sector, working with airlines including Cathay Pacific, easyJet, Norwegian, Virgin Atlantic and Wizz.

Little red was atrial.
Branson and Virgin America craked the low cost eceonomy marlet in the USA in less than 5 years going from a base in California with 3 aircraft to 70 aricraft,
I had to fight againt low economy aIrlines and beat them all off and the Big Major airlines, when it was sold to Alaskan Airlines value to be rought out was over $ billion whcich included some debt. Its focus was mainly the west coast.
I would imagine Branson or Virgin would turn Flybe round very quickly to challenge and dominate players like Easy Jet and Ryan in a matter of years if it decided to go further, but Branson and Virgin will wipe the floor with IAG in the UK, as they have proved i n the most competive market there is in the USA.
IAG carry Vueling loss making year after year and IAG have got nowhere with Level yet, so much so they still hanker after norwegian airshuttle to help them compete i long haul economy marktes
It all depends what appetite Branson as, as his focus as been the Space travel, in the USA and of late the UK Spaceport in Newquay.
Wwould be great to see Virgin work with Flybe and progess forward
Vueling operate at a loss for last 5 years plus.
Virgin have stood on there own till they sold a 49% to Delta who drawf IAG, and Branson sold 31% of AF KLM, leaving him 20% . Branson as made sure IAG can never be what Wee Willie Walsh want IAG to be.
Branson sold Virgin America, to Alaskan Airlines, and stated after wards they trashed the Virgin Brand.
Point being , what ever Happens to Flybe, the best fit would be Branson . FTSE12, Branson does not need any capital from Delta, AF KLM if he wants to buy it, the question is this, Does Richard Branson want to buy it, or is he talking on behalf of Virgin.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2017/jul/27/richard-branson-cedes-control-of-virgin-atlantic
Who is to say that Richard Branson would not buy Flybe himself, he does not have to use Virgin to buy it, as Branson could have his eye on Brexit and EU rules on the sky routes are very defenative. Ownership and UK owned. At present IAG shares wont allow UK investors to vote on issues at AGM etc.

Virgin Atlantic is getting a new boss. Effective January 1, 2019, Shai Weiss, the current commercial head for the carrier, will take over as CEO for Craig Kreeger, as Richard Branson cedes his majority stake in the airline.
The transition of power follows news that Virgin Atlantic’s alliance with Delta, which owns 49% of the UK airline, is set to be extended to include the Air France-KLM Group. Once complete, the Air France-KLM Group will get a 31% stake in the company, which will come from Branson’s ownership. After the deal, Branson will be left with just a 20% stake in the airline, which was founded in 1984. Nevertheless, the move represents Branson ceding his majority 51% stake in the airline.
Kreeger has been the CEO of Virgin Atlantic since 2013. At the end of 2018, Kreeger will retire — shortly before turning 60. Kreeger’s successor, Shai Weiss, has been with the company since he joined its board in 2012, as reported by Bloomberg. In 2014, Weiss became the carrier’s chief financial officer, and in 2017, he became the chief commercial officer.
Under Kreeger’s helm, the airline had mixed results — especially recently. In 2016, the airline turned a profit. However, in 2017, it posted a £28 million ($37 million) pretax loss. Responsible for the loss included the weak pound, which hurt demand for flights, as well as increased competition in the transatlantic market — especially from low-cost carriers, such as Norwegian and WOW Air. In an effort to curb the affect of low-cost carriers on its bottom line, Virgin introduced three different economy class tiers in March 2018, putting some of its offerings more in-line with that offered by its LCC competitors.

Airports are essential parts of the air transport system. As the gateways to aviation, they play a key role in facilitating tourism, travel, global trade and regional welfare. In 2016, airlines worldwide carried 3.8 billion people with an increase of 7% according to previous year. IATA?s 20-year forecast states that air passenger numbers will reach to seven billion annually by 2034. The demand growth for air transport services is much higher than the growth of airport infrastructure. Shortage in airport capacity is one of the most important pressing issues affecting world air mobility today. If capacity is less than demand, the demand needs to be managed. To use an airport at a specific time, an airline must have a slot. A Slot is most commonly known as landing or take-off right at airports during a specified period of time. The distribution of slots is carried by an independent ?Slot co-ordinator?. London Heathrow Airport is the most heavily slot restricted airport in the world, and the slots are very valuable. At Heathrow, the slots in the slot pool is very limited. In 2016 only 3 pair of new slots given to airlines by the slot coordinator. Because of the unavailability and lack of new slots, Heathrow has a premium secondary slot market, that makes it unique in the world. In 1999, the UK High Court gave a historic judgement about the question of buying and selling of slots and approved a slot deal between British Airways and KLM. By this approval, airlines are allowed to pay money to other airlines for slot transactions at UK airports. Although slot trading is still uncommon and technically illegal at EU airports, slots traded freely at Heathrow airport. In 2016, a gulf carrier, Oman Air purchased a prime slot pair from KLM for 75 million USD. The previous record was 60 million USD for a slot pair American Airlines bought from SAS a year before.Airport slots are not always used by airlines that attach the highest value to them on behalf of airport side. The efficient use of airport capacity means uses of larger aircraft, longer average flight lengths, and higher passenger numbers for allocated slots. If there is an inadequate use of a slot by a short-haul and less passenger flight, buying of this slot by another airline for a long-haul flight can create additional value and efficiency to that slot time.

Talks are continuing between Flybe and Virgin Atlantic, which has emerged as one of the companies interested in a potential acquisition or enhanced co-operation with the regional carrier.
The Exeter-based airline is exploring a number of strategic options, including a potential sale, it confirmed earlier this month.
Virgin Atlantic said in a short statement it “has a trading and codeshare relationship with Flybe and confirms that it is reviewing its options in respect of Flybe which range from enhanced commercial arrangements to a possible offer for Flybe. Virgin Atlantic emphasises that there can be no certainty that an offer will be made nor as to the terms of any offer.”
The network operator may well be interested in Flybe, which has been valued at around £25 million, because of its airport slots at Heathrow and also the potential for its regional routes around the UK to help feed its long-haul network from London and Manchester, partly done already via their existing codeshares.
Virgin’s Little Red domestic UK venture was abandoned in 2015 after two years of operation, largely due to insufficient load factors.
Flybe has said that it is in discussions with other parties as well as Virgin as part of its formal sale process. It held talks with the Stobart Group earlier this year but those eventually proved unsuccessful.

LONDON – More passengers will be able to take advantage of Flybe’s Edinburgh to London-Heathrow service as more daily flights are added. The carrier will offer extra daily flights from March 31 next year, meaning up to five daily flights will operate on Weekdays and Sundays and up to four daily services on a Saturday.
This increases the seat count on offer for the route by a significant 56,000 annually.
Roy Kinnear, Flybe’s CCO noted how much of a “significant market” Scotland is for the airline, and how this route, in particular, has “grown from strength to strength since its 2017 launch”.
“This is another example of Flybe’s ongoing commitment to connecting regional communities and providing a convenient service to and from major hub airports giving customers seamless onward access to destinations across the world”, he said.
The new flight will depart Edinburgh at 12:00, arriving into London-Heathrow at 13:45. The return will then depart at 14:30, arriving back into Edinburgh for 16:05.
Gordon Dewar, CEO of Edinburgh Airport, stated that this extra flight will offer passengers “greater choice and flexibility when traveling between two of the UK’s capital cities”.
“The domestic market is one that is consistently popular at Edinburgh Airport and we’re glad that Flybe has added to their offering to increase connectivity between Edinburgh, London and beyond”, he added.
This is the first level of positive news Flybe has had in the past few weeks, after it had announced it was putting itself for sale on the London Stock Exchange.
Main contenders at the moment stem with Virgin Atlantic, IAG, and Stobart Group, who will be battling it out for acquisition of the regional carrier.
Whoever acquires Flybe will have significant access to its well-established network.

Kleinman another who is paid to promote his owners agenda.
At present if Virgin or Delta/KLM AF want Flybe they will get it, even if that Virgin on its own, being a private company.
Cost of a transatalntic flight from the UK to USA main citys hub with UAL can be brought for £265 return, and that means you dont have any checked luggage, quiet a decent price .
IAG BA cant get near that price.
if this is going from a main listing, then it suits Kleinman agenda
