If I'm reading this right could the lack of activity be due to changes in the short positions. According to this view https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareShortPositions.asp?shareprice=ITV&share=ITV its showing the lowest its been for a year?
Lets draw a line under this as the common goal we all seek is to see a return on our own investment stratagies whatever they are. Some of that is judgement and luck.
Lets try to make 2023 a good year on this board.

Chilston excellent explanation in fact if you take a look at the short position graph you see this pattern of a slight pip up before a big drop in short positions. Nicely explained.
FunInvestor well said, thankfully everyone has different taste to squid and as it turns out the award winning film directors and studios do know what they are doing.
I thin FOMO will prevent some from profit taking - lets see....
With all the pent up demand created from the pandemic, and a back catalog ready to go 2022 should be EPIC for this sector IMHO
