EDL have yet to disagree with anything that you have posted, at least publicly.
This board like many other boards have the moaners who say we will never arrive and others who constantly bleat are we there yet, always for the same reason lack of information. Then there are others hell bent on winding people up which in itself can be entertaining.
As I have previously said your posts contradict the official news releases so you can expect a little agro.

Diggerman , re your Thursday evening post, again you contradict EDLs official news release with referenc e to permits. If the permits are so easily obtained why EDL /ILTL in their news release say that the delays in the handover are due to the non issue of permits?

Hi Aerial, re my post I have been unable to find the direct reference to the RCPP, I may have read it elsewhere, having not made a note of it I really can't back it up so apologies to any body reading my post. All I can say is somewhere in my research I came across that particular comment by AM, as there seems to have been no follow up it is best disregarded.

Aerial, without going through the news releases I seem to remember AM saying that once edl was up and running that they would be approaching TANESCO/TZ gov. re the RCPP later this year which is looking more like next year, I could of course mis read it. Until the TZ gov gets its finger out we are just marking time.
I don't expect news tomorrow but who knows? there's always next week, or the week after etc ,LOL

Aerial I have to recommend that post again, good for those newer investors. Once ILTL get the go ahead that coal will be coming out of the ground wet season or not. We need those permits post haste.
I'm assuming that EDL will be pursuing the CPP fairly soon now that the election is over. It is obvious with the collaboration with the power pools that something is going to have to start moving in the direction of power generation, otherwise the transmission pylons will be a line of nesting sites.

SoS we started off as a future CPP which was progressing until Magufuli shut the door. Now at this moment in time we are relying on commercial sales with ILTL, which by the news releases is ongoing, the CPP is still there to be pursued.
It's easy to blame the BOD, a whipping boy is always useful. This project was started on a shoe string with it's obvious limitations, we are now on the cusp of making a profitable business work for the share holders and for the long term holders to at least get their investment back with hopefully a bit on top, we shall see what unfolds in the coming weeks.

GW you are correct if ILTL can't get sorted with the TZ gov. and the Lind loan, which will be sorted in every ones interest.
The weather, always presents problems but this is a short season and I believe ILTL will have included that in their negotiations
concerning the prospective new customers but as you are thinking nothing is certain until there's ink on the paper and we head towards the necessary targets. My thinking is that will be achieved, which is why I will continue to top up until proven differently, after all this is not only AIM it is Africa with a need for reliable power generation.
