Delayed 50k buys rolling in from just after open. Would love a TR-1 RNS from a new institutional investor to really add momentum to this rise. 50k buyer has been going nuts this week and the MM's weren't able to let them in at cheaper prices as PI buying was too strong in the mid 20's.

I can buy for 33.5p and sell for 33.525p. Always fun when that's the case.

All we need to do is sit on our hands, break the 32.5p level, and watch this fly. Happy Friday everyone!

Remember earlier this week MM's would take 850k shares off you / 680k shares off me above bid in the mid 20's. At the time we said it was a major buy signal. It certainly seems we were right.

They gifted me a lot between 25p-27p, and yes I think they could be short. A bit of a bloody nose wouldn't be undeserved after all their shenanigans recently...

My LinkedIn is awash with Rare Earths news and big investment houses telling typical S&P investors how to take part in the Rare Earths story. We're a bit like AI right now, on a mini scale. And of course we are actually linked to AI, with all the datacentres and AI robotics requiring masses of Rare Earths.

Yeh, I think this is the moment we've been waiting for. Overhang gone, momentum in place, macro environment fantastic, company newsflow strongest ever, little resistance above here. Time to have fun!

A "sell" of shares to the MM's, a "buy" is buying shares from MM's.

The technical guys have said that 32p is a hurdle that we need to beat in order to get a big run upwards, so I assume a few have taken profit at that level. But it's only small PI sells from the looks of it. MM's still seem very keen.

32.2p and above are buys.

Definitely some background buying going on though, as MM's are back raising the bid quickly without any reported buys.

Appears to be some PI profit taking above 32p. Clear that, and we could have a great run upwards. Wonder if we'll get the same action as yesterday in the afternoon when American markets open.

Level 2 is fun so far this morning, lots of frantic movement (to the upside), with few reported trades. Big background buying must be continuing.

If you count Myles I would say we’re closer to 10%+ held by LSE BB posters/readers.

Reported trades today less than 2m, I suspect there will be a few big ones from today reported tomorrow/Monday. Think of all the other days we’ve had more buying than today in the past two months without any SP rise at all, let alone the 15% rise we had today.

This tells me the big seller who has held the SP back for the past 7 weeks is gone or is finished for the time being (possibly signalled by the warrant conversion RNS yesterday).

Separately, Cotec also being up the same amount today tells me there is either a leak/some Hypromag USA news, or as Bonker says, the yanks are starting to take interest in both companies off the back of the MP deals and potential marketing from the likes of Cohen and Co.

We would have closed at 32p without the UT, but it’s recorded at 31.5p with the UT. 31.5p matches our highest close in the last few years but is lower than our all time high close of 37.5p in November 2021. Given the mid price was 32p at close today I’d argue we closed at our highest for nearly fours years.

After all that excitement, time to chill out and watch Rory at The Open back in his and my homeland. Oh wait, that's unlikely to reduce the heart rate at all... Have a nice evening everyone, tomorrow could be interesting!

I wonder how many delayed 50k buys will turn up today when all's said and done.

In the end there were a lot of bids for that 50k at 31.5p so that was the clearing price and we have the official close with a UT at 31.5p. MM's should still start tomorrow with a mid price of 32p though, in theory.
