Cyber, I think if it’s going to happen (and I give it a good chance, though perhaps not as high as 80%), then imo it will happen in the next 2-3 months. A decision to proceed on the Texas plant is due mid year, with the detailed engineering and design work concluding shortly. That is the obvious time for a deal and the MP deal shows how quickly this administration can work when it wants to. They may also want to wait for Tyseley full commissioning results for proof of concept at scale.

Anyone who follows Julian will know that he has been deafeningly quiet on the comms by his standards in the past few months and I can only assume that there is a big reason for this. The only media I can find of Julian in the last four months was a two minute slot on 15th May where he says “because of the Trump administration we are so well placed to take advantage in the US”. Whether it’s a DoD deal or something else I don’t know, but my bet is that his comms blackout is good news.

Yeh saw that article on Reuters velcro, this could be massive for us. Direct from a DoD official as well. We know we have been in talks with the DoD both last year and then the pace picked up again in the Spring with the new administration. Julian talked about how serious the DoD are taking the issue on an investor call a few months ago and based on this article and the MP deal imo it’s a pretty safe bet that a potential deal has at least been floated / discussed. If we wake up to an RNS on an agreement between DoD and Hypromag USA, can you imagine what would happen!?

It's just Berenberg switching from bid to ask and then back again. We got the rise to 28.75p, at which point they finally got a few sellers and they have decided to settle it down with a large spread. Still above 28p to buy and can sell above 27.5p. All the delayed 50k buys starting to filter through now as predicted.

Gallmat, what do you mean by sledgehammer to the whole industry? Are you seeing this as a negative?

On the first MP announcement, Alex was re-posting the White House's announcement of the DoD / MP materials deal so he obviously thinks it's very positive. On the second, I'm pretty sure we knew a while back that Apple were in talks with MP about collaborating on a recycling plant, I remember reading something about this six months ago (though obviously it was only talks at that stage). If Apple are doing this, surely it signals that other big RE magnet users, read robotics, aviation, car manufacturers etc are going to start investing in recycling companies too, which can only be good for us. We have the lowest energy/cost and greenest solution after all (some US companies still care about that stuff).

Yes we are planning a facility in Fort Worth, so who knows, it could be possible. Would certainly explain the smile on Will's face last week...

Have you ever seen that here before Bonker (above bid I mean)? Particularly when you take in the value given the SP we are at? It has to mean there is a massive buyer out there surely? HL is pretty limited and only shows me what's available at or above bid. It hasn't been possible to sell 600k for 4-5 months now, so I'm taking this as a massive buying signal.

Someone has thrown a 1 trade in, though I expect just to stir things up rather than due to an impending RNS.

If anyone ever wanted to question whether AIM is bent, all you need to do is look at the trades today and the fact that we are currently down for the day. Absolute sea of buying and can sell nearly £200k above advertised bid (perhaps more if all my shares were in the same place), but the SP is lower. But I reckon things are going to change this afternoon, for the positive.
