RE: POG1 Oct 2025 11:22
Element, I was already a decent size holder in Aya and backed the truck up near the bottom on Thursday, particularly after I heard confirmation from other PI's who had managed to speak to Benoit, who confirmed the report was untrue, malicious and that they had suffered a cyber attack at the same time. They have a PEA coming out for their tier 1 gold / silver project in the next couple of weeks, so the shorter was clearly panicking. They therefore tried this hit job, but it has failed and they are even more in the hole, with many more investor eyes also now on Aya. Just to confirm, they weren't able to close out their existing short, just the more recent positions they took out prior to the hit job. Over 10% of the shares in the company now need to be bought by the shorter to cover, their average short position is around $15.50 CAD, current SP is $16.10 CAD, the shorter is screwed.
