The true bid price is 46.51p, 1.51p higher than the advertised bid. True spread is 46.51p / 47.62p. Smoke and mirrors...

Don't know for sure FinePrint, but yes that is my supposition. Sometimes I reckon they just do it to create volume, as they get paid a margin on the trades, so higher volume makes them more money. Sometimes in the past they appear to have been filling buy orders. When a big buyer approaches them and puts in an order it is their job to get the best possible price for them and they will use various tactics to achieve this.

I mean can you imagine the share price impact if they announced today that they were listing Hypromag USA on the NASDAQ? I think we'd be over £1 in no time.

I think I agree with the listing being Hypromag USA, though I'm not sure they would want to completely separate from the global business until they are confident in the commissioning of the first plant. They will want to be able to leverage the staff, expertise and learnings from the development of the UK and German plants so a the very least would want some commercial agreement with Hypromag and Hypromag Gmbh to maintain access to this.

MM's are allowed to delay reporting of trades, and they usually only do this for bigger volume ones. The reason/excuse is some guff about keeping an orderly market. In fact it is just a tool they use to confuse and obfuscate and in my opinion shouldn't be allowed.

So far we've had four delayed reported trades printed. They are all buys, two 50k's and two 32k's. No delayed sells have yet turned up. Based on trades reported so far we have buys outweighing sells by over 300k - 350k+ buys vs less than 50k sells. If there is no big delayed sell reported later, as there wasn't yesterday, then it's just more evidence of games being played.

If you want to know if games are being played just look at the SP action this morning and the current 3p spread…

Look at the trades yesterday, there was nothing delayed reported later in the day that would justify the severe drop in the bid in the morning. I assume the same may be the case today. Another top up from me at 46p.

May be a few background sells yet to be reported, but I think also games being played. Same thing happened yesterday.

Look at yesterday CodeJunkie, 3p drop in bid on very low selling volume. Games afoot, it’s been happening regularly. Drop her out of the gate before a bit of a recovery in the afternoon.

Same story this morning. Dropped her before open, hundreds of tiny trades to confuse. I have topped up in the low 46’s.

Bid is up to 48p, potentially the start of American buying.

The 32k at 10:10 was also a buy. Not seeing massive net sells that would justify a 3p drop in the bid, at all. Maybe they'll turn up later, but I've been monitoring the trading and SP here for a long time and I can for certain say that there are games involved and that the MM's don't always play with a straight bat.

Fairly chunky sells turning up? The 31k at 10:58 and 42.5k at at 11:03 are clearly buys...

Quite ridiculous from the MM's with a 3p bid drop on less than 300k volume (a substantial portion of which are buys) and loads of tiny trades to obfuscate the true trading picture. Nearly time to find some funds for a top up.

So it looks like this is the new pattern. MM's drop the SP off the bat in the morning (currently bid is 2p lower than yesterday close!) on very little selling, and the Americans come in the afternoon and buy up the shares taking us back up into positive territory. Let's see if it plays out that way again this afternoon. Don't be shaken out of your shares in the meantime.
