Garonne, you and Haggis are as bad as each other. Opposite sides of the coin but the same mendacious and arrogant, repetitive behaviours.
I would love to be proven wrong in my assertion that this board can never be what it should be due to the personalities involved. It should be a place where people can state their views, if backed by evidence, and perhaps give balanced perspectives. This could happen if various individuals did not have entrenched positions with dishonourable intent.
Here's some news for Ade, Daz, Haggis, Garonne and all the other culprits:
The majority on here and elsewhere (ie the other group to which you disparagingly refer) realise:
- That AFC has tremendous potential IF it can realise the pathway it has defined recently
- That AFC has, in recent times, delivered against that pathway and ha shown big technical and commercial strides
- That AFC is guilty of not delivering in the past and of overstating its ambition
- That AFC at times in the past may have frankly misled. Some may defend that (perhaps legitimately) by saying that
there was a need to drive optimism to support the company
- That AFC is a risk. But the maximum downside is 14p a share, and the maximum upside is potentially much higher.
I am as guilty as any recently in personalising comments and being too partisan. Repetitive, tribal, ill informed and unbalanced comment has not place on here.
I have a significant AFC holding and am just about at break even. I think AFc has huge potential, commercially, socially and financially, but I also accept this is not a given. I think Adam Bond has done well given the cards he has been dealt and I abhor the sarcasm that has crept into this place.
AFC has worked with Zeus and PH recently to give us a clearer picture than we have ever had and I think the outlook over the next 3-4 years is very positive.....the government grant and the Speedy JV have hugely reassured me. It would be nice if we can discuss these issues like interested and respectful investors, and not in the manner that has become the custom here.
Many feel that the primary commentators on this board are paid to promote their views. Please prove them wrong......
