As we patiently await the next announcement for delivery of the larger unit to ABB, it’s goo to reflect on the fantastic achievements made over the past year or so :
- accelerated development of the S series system
- development of an ammonia cracker system that can be sold as a distinct marketable product that will deliver lower cost hydrogen
- development of a methanol reformer system that can be sold as a distinct marketable product that will deliver lower cost hydrogen
- ongoing development of Alkamem that will also be sold as a distinct marketable product once development has completed
- successful deployments into the construction industry helping these companies achieve sustainable non-diesel solutions helping to reduce particulate emissions that affect the health of each and every one of us!…

- Successful validation of the 100kw S+ series for ABB. we now eagerly anticipate the arrival of the 200kw S+ unit with Ammonia integration. This unit alone will be enough to transform AFC allowing off-grid power generation for EVs as well as supplying full power capacity to major construction sites, powering all their power needs
- anticipated news around marine power but we know this will take longer to develop given the huge engineering involved in ship building.
- significant increase in quality employees with more vacancies shown on the website
This is just a small summary of the achievements so far by AFC and, as we look forward to becoming less dependent on oil and gas from the likes of Russia this will surely lead to a cleaner environment and greater energy independence. Exciting times ahead folks. Yes it’s painful as we begin the transition to Hydrogen, but it’s great to be invested in a GB company that will take us forward towards a cleaner and more sustainable world

Getting in Robin Koeken in as the Development manager for AFC this was a real real exciting statement from ABB and AFC.
Let’s remind ourself on his positive approach since he has been here
About
Experienced Senior Sales and Business Development Manager, Global Account Manager, and Marketing Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the data center, manufacturing, and energy-intensive industries. A strong and enthusiastic sales manager and business development professional skilled in sales strategy, creating high-impact sales culture and building long-lasting customer relationships.
Business Development Manager
AFCEnergy AFC Energy plc •Responsible for AFC Energy's commercial activities, advising the sales strategy of the company and leading the day-to-day sales activities. I am reporting to the CEO and part of the management team,
With our market-leading fuel cell technology, flexible-fuel solutions (hydrogen and hydrogen carriers fuels), and relentless support, we deliver Affordable, Flexible, and Clean energy to support our industrial customers to decarbonize their operations and help them to achieve their sustainability / Net Zero targets.
This does not sound like someone to me who believes he won’t be delivering in a lot of sales

Good morning Absolutely! Happy to discuss hydrogen backup generator applications for Solenis at any of your 49 manufacturing plants.

Good morning Dip-Q. Thanks for your comment. I'm happy to have a chat on this. We have made significant investments and developments in our technology and company since 2018, and in combination with our partnership with ABB, we are now ready to target and roll out such projects. I'll send you a separate DM to connect.

And we have the hydrogen backup solutions to support it. Designed and manufactured in Dunsfold, UK
Recent interviews around Ireland .
Great discussion! Microgrids and renewables are definitely the way to move forward for a more reliable and sustainable grid. In addition to battery energy storage for short-term usage and tackling the intermittency challenge of renewables, green hydrogen and fuel cells for on-prem (backup)power play an essential piece of the puzzle as well. And Ireland has an enormous opportunity in this area.
This is just small snippets since he has been on board .
Many many other discussion with his long reach and list of previous Data Centre and other sector clients have been had I’m sure.
Don’t let others have you believe nothing is going on in this company as it’s completely the opposite.
Big things are being planned by this company in terms of ramping up manufacturing and pushing and improving to validate the 200kw systems later this year.
When they do I’d be expecting a few interested Parties 🤗

A Year of Unprecedented Progress
It’s good to look back on the last year of the company and remember how far they have come and have quickly they have ramped up development on the S series and S Series plus fuel cell systems.
How they are now also ramping up manufacturing of the fuel cells systems.
How they are also developing further a Fuel-flex strategy that will gives us an edge over other PEM stack systems.
Green hydrogen
methanol reforming tech
Ammonia cracker technologies
Agreements with Hilroc to utilise thier plasma electrolysis tech https://hiiroc.com
Later this year I’m quite certain these shorters would have dispersed into the back ground as the company move forward with their 200kw system and the 50kva generator to further disrupt the diesel generator market.
This bellow is taken from the annual general meeting report in 2023 highlighting some of that progress .
• Successful field deployments of new H-Power Tower hydrogen powered generator
- product platform delivered in less than 12 months
- deployments already resulted in follow on orders
- focus on construction industry
- growing pipeline of contracted customers and proposals
• Successful on time delivery and validation (post year end) by ABB of new Liquid Cooled 100kW stack technology
- technology platform delivered in less than 12 months
- building block to 200kW H-Power system set for first operation in 2023
- platform to open new markets including maritime and critical power back up (data centres) - validation by ABB culminated in follow on investment (post year end)
Successful delivery of Season 2 of Extreme E
- Provided zero emission EV charging to all 2021 and 2022 races
• Successful launch of new Ammonia Cracking platform
- cracker technology to support localised hydrogen generation
- maritime and stationary applications
- very strong market positioning in modular, scalable high technology crackers
• Successful initial field trial of new Methanol Fuel Tower with ACCIONA
- methanol reformer platform delivering clean hydrogen to H-Power Tower
