A couple of nice buys from someone today, good to have a bit of a blue day.

We were supposed to dovetail the development of Kallak with that of the Grafintec project, both 2026 for production. We now know that won’t happen with Grafintec until a year later. From the current RNS. I’m hoping, and that’s all it is really, that Ed can pull a rabbit out of the hat re Kallak and bring us some unexpectedly good news. At the back of my mind however, is unfortunately the dread of having wasted thirteen years supporting this company with another body blow yet to come.

At this sp it is difficult for me to see how we are in a strong negotiating position. Budgie has contributed to this with a 40% discount given on the last fundraise. Weak negotiation.

Obviously the current sp is grim, and there is a risk of even further downside, along also with greater upside. It’s important to accept that it could still go either way. We should not be in this position, yet we are.

Pocko, I think your post is a fair assessment of the situation and the effect on sp. If the sp was sitting at 15p due to better management of our assets, then existing shareholders would not be in such a precarious situation. It should be a concern, as to how a healthier position will be achieved before the next cash call.

Roller, we potentially still have Kallak to get excited about, but we could be struggling if there isn’t anything near-term. My concern is the next fundraise. The last one was destructive enough to our holdings, especially for anyone who couldn’t average down. We shouldn’t be in such a position with a world-class asset. I’m hoping a deal is struck for Kal, which becomes official pending the outcome of the Sami Appeal against the Swedish Government.

Vardar? Dunno. No real news of any progress made all year. Well, since we diverted £250k over there back in January. We’ve not had any real operational update. Why not? Surely they’ve done something!

Anyway, so we continue to wait for the end of this six month review and ponder what might have been. The sp problem has yet to be addressed.

I agree re the RNS. Structured well for progress at Grafintec, but years away. Still, we have the plans plotted out, which is something new. What I will say, in Kurt’s defence, is that the CRM Act was only voted in favour of by the EU Parliament on 7 September, something which we trust will work massively in our favour. Kurt did not have the added bonus of this and the recognised targets for the EU.

It is difficult to take re the timescales, but nonetheless, we now have some. It is only a preliminary roadmap though, so subject to change of course, which could be change for the better.

Yes, still grim on the sp front, but I guess that the six month review should half done by now. If not more. I can’t see the SAC decision taking many more months, but that is only my personal opinion.

Grafintec looks decent but we need to see the structured plans for progress, cost and timescales?

Ed needs to work on the news delivery, including frequency, if we are to gain momentum in the right direction. The last RNS was an improvement on previous. If I remember rightly. Seems so long ago now. Lol.

Hi Roller. Yes, I suppose this year so far we’ve at least had a shake-up in personnel, for better or worse, but hopefully for better. The new NED seems top quality and the question as to why he is even bothering with BEM remains. We’ve had more mystery than ever to deal with, on the back of some of us parting with further money for what was at the outset, a promising year. Still no Kal PFS, planned for commencement in Q2. Things haven’t gone according to Kurt’s plans, and now we have yet to learn what the plans are for Vardar and Kal. We know the plan for Grafintec, but the finer details are lacking there.

Great to have the Sami Appeal Hearing over with though, pending that outcome.

Good posts Pocko and Sooz. Yes, we have no further dates for next stage progress on any of our projects. Grafintec is at least alive and progressing, but it’s frustrating not knowing when the next accomplishment will be. And we should know, as supporters of and investors in this Company. As for Vardar, we funded them with the £250k back in January of this year to enable preparations for a drilling campaign, which was scheduled for Spring. We have not, however, allocated further funds since to Vardar, and, surprise surprise, we’ve had no news that any scheduled drilling has actually taken place. So nothing of any note since January really, except that Kurt mentioned spinning Vardar out and no news on that either. The latest news being of Ed visiting the project, but we have yet to hear what his own plans may be for that project.

We know about Kal and the Appeal. We also were informed of the six month review (possibly three months left?) and no attempt to lodge our environmental application by year end, as was the original target under Kurt.

One thing that Ed has not stood in the way of, let’s say, is Ulla’s departure. In a way, that’s something good, because we surely were only due to keep Ulla temporarily anyway. We surely need a miner running Jokkmokk Iron, not a politician.

No news though on the search for a replacement.

So really, the lack of communication continues on all fronts, barring the Finland project, where things are seemingly happening but without timescale.

Yes, it’s still not a tight business, something which Ed can focus to improve upon. The problem being, we still don’t really know his actual intentions and whether they will benefit existing shareholders.

It remains a puzzle and a continued wait, for those who can or wish to.

Hi SJ. Pass the forceps. Lol. Yeah, we will need cash again eventually, so we do need the sp up markedly via news, or some of us will be sunk without trace with our investment here. I took up the 2.06p offer and that is currently a disaster of a decision because I now need some of that money back. Looking at a 33% loss on that. Roughly. It’s been a shambles following that fundraise and the plans not adhered to.

We must trust Ed’s plans will be better than Kurt’s were. I have everything crossed and will keep looking for snippets of news, amidst the silence from BEM itself.

Yes, be great to get this SAC verdict and move the business on, one way or another.

We know Grafintec’s intention anyway, so not sure why this info has been posted five hours ago. Unless there are further developments we have yet to hear about via RNS.

Sooz, I guess we could get something for being lied to by the Minister though perhaps, when the KU Committee investigation concluded there were actually no measures in place to move our application along for over three years, in spite of what BEM was told.

But if the Governments have collectively taken nine years to determine a decision on our concession, then one would trust that said decision is the correct one. Checked and scrutinised for loopholes, just like our bulletproof application itself.
