It’s a bit wearing after being involved here for thirteen years. The various Swedish Governments in that time have been utterly useless in dealing with our sector. It’s about time things were simplified and timescales given for decisions etc.

Anyway, we’ve broken the back of the approximate six month review. Good!

I guess Rinsey was fairly quiet, well, mainly locals. Being a bit unknown to the wider and all. Glad you managed a trip there and took time to collect the stones. Therapeutic Sooz. I have a few stones from my trips around the Cornish coast. Feelgood magic!

I still rarely look over on Spotlight, although I am in the Swedish FB Group. That’s pretty good for info in general, not necessarily Kallak specific.

The sp remains a tragedy, but the six month review now has approximately two months and three weeks left to run. Maximum approximation.

Hi Roller. Yes, I took a gamble at the time, because of the terrifying discount of 40% given on the last fundraise and the jeopardy thereby placed on my main holding average, so although I’ve got the average down somewhat, the sp has dropped over 30% again since the fundraise, rather than it rising above the 2.06p for any good length of time. Just a few days, from memory. While Kurt must bear the blame for raising at a 40% discount, if that’s the very best he could do, he of course did not then remain (for whatever reason) to see any of the things he had planned for BEM for this year come to fruition. Or, it seems, even commence. I don’t feel we know enough of the facts about why he left to be able to apportion the blame for the lack of progress solely to him, if at all.

On the face of it, a six month review, without any detailed explanation, is contemptible, an unfunny joke at the expense of shareholders. Unless, and I say this with blind hope, the six month review includes a deal for Kallak, pending the Appeal.

Anyway, I’m staying for as long as I can. I want to see what happens, to give myself the chance of it not being a complete waste of my thirteen years here.

Hi Wod. I will only sell small amounts if I absolutely have to. So I needed to. Obviously I hadn’t planned on having to sell at 1.49p, when I bought the option shares at 2.06p. But at the time I took the additional risk to get my average down. It hasn’t worked, but I’m still trying to keep my main holding for better days. Hopefully.

None of us were to know of the events that would occur following the last major fundraise.

SJ, good that you managed a profit there. Wise move. Yep, we don’t know what will occur. Notable though that we still haven’t filled the Jokkmokk Iron CEO job. Why not?

My thoughts are, because one won’t be needed.

SJ, best of luck. I had to sell 25,000 BEM on Monday as I need the money now. It came up as a 29% loss on the 2.06p offer price paid for the option shares. Not good, and we aren’t yet sure what will drive the sp even back to the old norms of 3.5-5p zone. One way or another though, this approximate six month review is getting shorter.

If the Government does lose this Sami appeal and we have our positive decision reversed, we surely must then consider taking legal action against the Government.

However, it’s difficult to see how any Government over time could set legal rules and standards then the present Government be undone by its own processes. Nine years and various coalitions to finally get it wrong would be an international business catastrophe in our sector.

As Sooz mentioned, I think some of us have had enough of mining. Lol.

I wish we could all get along. The sp isn’t helping, but on a brighter note perhaps, we now now have approximately less than three months to wait for the conclusion of the six month review. We’ve broken the back of it, in terms of waiting.

What I find unusual is that while we know why we have no news from Kallak, i.e. pending the outcome of the Sami appeal, we’ve had no real update from Kosovo since January, with nothing seemingly hampering developments there, except perhaps for more cash from us.

A very bad day over there, but it has nothing to do with us. In terms of its stage of development it cannot be compared to BEM.

Only my opinion, but your “Buyer beware” title here is somewhat misleading, considering we don’t yet know the results of our six month review. Kallak and Vardar information still awaited. Fair enough if you post that title on HZM.
