We did see HK pull up really close to AK, within 100 metres at one point in time. They tried..and they couldn't get it done as the Weather wasn't great. We can't predict these, with AK being a fair way up the North Sea. Let's hope that tomorrow morning brings HK (and AK) better luck..

Maybe HK could hookup earlier than 5 PM today? She looks about 2 to 3 hours out from AK.

BUMI is a Malaysia listed company. There's no bank holiday there tomorrow.

Morning Chilts - yes, looking good for AK for now. BUMI may be able to confirm something in their H1 results - you still expecting this tomorrow? Or AB may want to wait for another load or two before signing off on AK - 12 days load duration is a positive indicator.

We'll know the June OGA production stats in a weeks' time, although that'll only precede H1 results by a few days and we should have more details in that update.

Yes, HK confirmed for a 5 PM arrival tomorrow at AK and a 12 day load. Looking good now...

I've noted that HK is now underway from Brunsbuttel, but the destination isn't updated yet. I'll check in the morning, but if anyone spots the destination in the meantime, please ping the board.

Thanks a lot, MO. You're a spotter par excellence..Lol..;-) Fingers crossed we do get another Alma load inside a month. That'll tell us Alma's chugging along nicely. I looked up OGA database for P1765 today and the status hasn't changed yet, likely not updated yet!!!

It'll be fabulous if we get HK in by the 27th evening. That's a big pointer that BUMI may well announce commissioning ahead of our H1 results..

Cheers. I was looking at HK as the only reasonable candidate (in my mind) and based on what you've seen in the Orkney register, it looks likely now. I'd wager that HK will be arriving at AK, probably early/mid-day on Monday..If yes, that'll make it just over 12 days...

MO - to your previous point about hedging in the mid 70s, we can now see Brent for June 2019 delivery at around the $75 levels.

NOTE TO AMJAD/JS - do lock in some hedges for next year at these levels. Let's do a collared hedge with not much of an hedge premium spend OR at the least a put option that puts a floor on the selling price and enables to us participate in any big upside next year..;-)

Yes, also checked the OGA link you'd sent us, earlier today and noted the status of the wells. They're probably not updated yet and a better yardstick is the tanker stats. We could even speculate that this is a reason why the SP has been outperforming in the past few weeks!!!

On a totally different note, I'm up in the Scottish highlands and made my way up to John O'Groats and saw a Crude tanker (I believe) sailing between JOG and Orkney. Couldn't quite see Scapa from Duncansby Head though..Lol..;-) And saw a row of drilling rigs moored in the Cromarty Firth yesterday.

That's great news. As always, that's most appreciated and thanks for keeping an eye out on Alma/Galia. Extrapolating from the tanker size data, we could be looking at Alma producing in the circa 6K to 8K BOPD range, most probably at the high end. The next set of offloads should give us better insight into how Alma is producing, although we should certainly hear more in the H1 update.

I don't think that ENQ will be making any large investment decisions within the next 12 to 18 months or so, as their priority is to reduce debts to a reasonable level by 2019/2020. Cashflow from existing assets will go Majorly towards this, IMO.

I can, however, see the Magnus 75% option being exercised by the end of 2018 though and that adds a neat chunk of oil producing assets to our pipeline.

Their Catcher production rates have plateau'd and production rates are good. That's way better than AK has been operationally. We'd all love to see such good news coming out of AK, won't we??? If Brent stays up, their debt levels would be good, looking forward to H2 and 2019

Distillate: +1.8MM (est +1.5MM)
Gasoline: -930K (est +0.5MM)
Cushing: +195K

Bigger draws in Crude and Gasoline in the API report. Hopefully, EIA will back up these numbers too..

We can but optimistically speculate that they're feverishly working to get final commissioning done, ahead of BUMI's H1 update, but not holding my breath though.

Brent looks OK this morning, backed by Dr.Copper which is on a 2% up move this morning. That is yet another reliable indicator of the continuation of the global growth story and is positively correlated with oil prices in general. Here's hoping that the trade wars don't escalate and trip this up!!

If there's no new news, you may well get a small drop at the open, as it seems to these past few days...

Cheers for that info, MO. Do you know if the OGA well database is a periodic update - i.e. the operator needs to report on the well status, say a month? I suppose it's safe to assume that it is not a real-time update?
