Ok, so global revenue is £10.5 billion in 2022. 16% profit I think. Just over quarter is oral health for example. So let’s say £250 million income from Sendodyne! Take off profit and we have costs of 200 million. Around half is marketing / promotion and rest is production and distribution costs. So c£100m globally on toothpaste ads.

I dearly hope that they put 10-20 behind year one in US. US market is perfect for regionally testing to get their mix right. I would pilot in half a dozen states. Competition mix is same everywhere.

If we go with 7k in month from Amazon (anyone see it higher?) 100 a day in Boots on line and (total guess) double that in stores we get to c16k boxes. Call it 20k for other outlets. Or double it. Let’s say 50k in a month. I have no idea what ratio of online to stores to use.

£5 per pack to us. Boots get £10. Coopers get £10.

So I’m getting only £250k revenue to us in a busy month. Less for this campaign. 500 to Coopers won’t pay for the ad spend.
