I’m going to take a punt Affidx launches first in Spain.

I think we will start to receive contract news next week.
My reasons:

1. Spain the country of validation,so out of all EU countries they already know about it.
2. Medusa have exclusive distribution rights to consumers and non-exclusive distribution rights to businesses for Affidx and have Spanish distributer connections already set up. Check out their website UK & Spain.
3. Spain’s economy is so reliant on tourism and they need a the best & most accurate test in the world as fast as possible to salvage what is left of this years tourist season.

The amount of moaning about contracts and not selling on here is ridiculous.

AS only stated this in a RNS 2 days ago.

Avacta has multiple ongoing commercial discussions with distributors and end user customers in countries that accept the CE mark for in vitro diagnostic products. The product registration by the MHRA allows the Company to sell the product in the UK for professional use and the Company expects product registration from a Competent Authority within the EU to follow shortly.

All ducks lined up and in place, just let the Avacta management get on with the job.

It’s a transformative milestone for Avacta's Diagnostics Division.
First diagnostic on to the market.
But look at the markets after Covid.

The Group is also developing an in-house pipeline of Affimer-based diagnostic tests. Resources have been focused during 2020 primarily on the immediate COVID testing opportunities, and since the lateral flow test is now in clinical evaluation the Group is in a position to begin to refocus its research and development resources onto non-COVID diagnostic tests, which include assays for D-dimer, cortisol, vitamins D and B12 and C-reactive protein, a test with regard to liver function. Avacta has recently appointed a Product Manager who joined the Group in March whose role is to define the market opportunity and performance requirements for new tests to feed the product development pipeline in the future. This appointment is part of a wider expansion of the Diagnostics division's management team which also includes a Head of Product Development and Operations Director.

Don’t you think PD & Gov uk could of sent a scientist over to Spain to supervise Avacta’s validation so they would have fresh samples.
Nothing in Gov doc to say validation should be performed at PD just passed by PD.
