On a roll with their RNS announcements
keep releasing them.

We all thought it was between Avacta & Mologic last year but partnership announced on 8th Feb, Mologic conceded we had better test so joined us.

PL it was in December when Mologic CE marked,but 8th Feb RNS put Al in driving seat.

Omega (AIM: ODX), the medical diagnostics company focused on CD4, infectious diseases and food intolerance testing, announces that it has agreed a contract with the Department of Health and Social Care ("DHSC") to provide manufacturing capacity for COVID-19 lateral flow antigen tests, as part of the UK Government's well-publicised target of producing two million lateral flow tests per day.
 
The intention is that as soon as the DHSC has access to a test that has successfully passed a performance evaluation, the test will be licensed for Omega to manufacture. As part of the contract, DHSC will loan a number of key pieces of manufacturing equipment.

Every time I find a paper like this it makes me more relaxed about my Investment in Avacta.

5. Conclusions
We show that analyzing capture experiments with gel-based Coomassie staining and Western blotting and MS-based proteomics provides valuable data on the binding characteristics of affimers and antibodies. In our study, affimers had a more efficient purification of their target proteins from human plasma as exemplary complex matrix. This study contributes to our understanding that affimers are promising alternatives for antibodies in protein affinity purification assays.

Avacta looking good with its licences in numerous pies, but if we can finish AVA6000 clinical trials using Affidx revenue, We will not just receive a piece of Pie but will have the Pie all to ourselves.

Mologic received CE on their test in December, we are now days before we CE our test through Mologic.
If Mologic haven’t brought their test out by now they could of scrapped in return for a royalty from Avacta with helping bring Affidx to market months early.
