I agree bt may look at 141/144 area tomorrow as pound and ftse futures both very strong, which can indicate a 3 to 5 per cent daily up move in bt

What also is another encouraging sign the medium/long term outlook good for telecom stocks is Warren buffet Berkshire as been buying in Nov chunk t mobile for its 5g outlook

So another positive for the sector

I feel a morning set off as slightly lower in line futures, but another come back by bt as day goes on to finish flat/slightly positive on day

Nearly we sadly moved back down from 13760 towards end of day to 13460. Which was shame.

Tomorrow of course could bring anything. As mkt under little pressure since London tier 3 announcement snd New York tonight talking possible total lockdown, which has created in last few hours risk off, not that bt will be majorly affected in its business performance especially while the vaccine is their in months to come.

One risk factor that not factored in is if there becomes a problem with vaccine in terms of new side effect found or logistical slowdown on delivery. But still bt remains a very valued stock that any fall back now I don’t see too deep.

If toff is regularly trading on ig mkts at weekends, I can give you a clue he will be losing a lot of cash as spreads would be much wider and there isn’t much need to trade regularly weekends either.

IG are only ones who offer wide weekend ccy pricing and if you trade that regularly the casino spread effect will kill you

In my opinion - today and yesterday drop is a complete buy the rumour sell the fact share move.

Uk companies are already very heavily discounted vs intl companies on the brexit no deal uncertainty already.

In my opinion you may get a mark down first thing on Monday if no deal is confirmed but the shares will race back fast as the event passes and everyone wants to buy the discounted shares.

The really big move will be if an agreement is made and we will see by rally 20 percent in a week minimum

If you google bt share price the chart is very good in comparing many different stocks price rise since 11nov (Pfizer ) announcement and you can see against likes of below stocks bt still has so much more north upside in just rising in line with many value stocks snd considering bt fundamentals were even cheaper than those it still has lot of fast upside legs before upside slows a little

To me since the first Pfizer vaccine announcement this stock has gone up 30 per cent. However so many other value stocks have outperformed bt since announcement

So as this was even more undervalued than them in terms of pe etc. This still has miles more legs upwards and calls for £3 still makes this stock quite cheap on relative terms and that’s with static earnings let alone growth of earnings which I see this stock producing for 10 years fwd.
