to the Slovenian Governments queries should be in now. The permit to re-stimulate wells 10 and 11a are the most important as we know but the IPPC one would also boost the sp a lot. Getting the permits is key as we know. Assuming we get the 3 permits I mentioned the sp would surely be more like 1.5p.
Hopefully we will find out.

The bottom line here is simply whether those who was the data room information think it realistically supports Ascents "Five year development plan". If it does then Ascent is worth a lot more than three times that valuation. Unfortunately even if us sharholders had seen the information we would not be able to understand it anyway so it makes things rather difficult. All we can do is take heart from the fact that there are a "handful" of Companies left who still want to talk to Ascent having seen the data.
It seems to me that even if the data is inconclusive the fact that most of the infrastructure is already there and there are 2 wells driled that can be re-completed at the expected better performing "E" sands makes the investment risk minimal. I mean in the worst case scenario any investor is IMHO very likely to cover their costs even if they don't make a mint. Then the best case scenario is they do make a mint. It's got to be worth jv with Ascent or a takeover IMHO.

This is my take on the current situation.
I can't see a takeover getting backing from us "retail" investors after all the up'sand down's of the past few years at anything under 2p a share. I think 2.5p ish might clinch it but that is only my guess.
If no bid then the chances of a jv are IMHO 95% after Clive'scomments at the end of the conference call.
In this case Ascent will be looking for the new partner to fund 100% of the re-working the 2 existing wells at minimum, plus enough cash to see the overheads covered until the re-working is complete. So something like £5m investment.
Loose change to a lot of oil/gas Co's.
