Seems to me some oil Co's have borrowed mountains of cash by convincing unwary investors that shale oil is competitive when a lot of it clearly is not. The chicken has come home to roost. The USA Government are not daft. They are not going to artificially support expensive shale oil. Maybe they will try to get the ptice of say Brent up to more like $40 but that would be it IMHO, assuming they could (which is doubtful without OPEC and Russia on board. I think PMO and all oil Co's need to gear up for Brent $35 to $45.

I'm thinking it can still spread looking at malaysia, Austaralia, Pakistan figures. However no where near as easily where it is below say 22c - basically everywhere in Europe, China ion last 4 months or so.
I pray with people being much more careful and weather over 22c the rate of spread will level off until a vaccine is available....... we MUST have a vaccine by next winter. "It can't be done" is not good enough. It CAN be done and we need to make it happen!

as Russia wants to wreck the USA shale oil industry. PMO have 37% of their oil hedged @ $64 until July. Hedge fund managers in tears I should think. With a lot of luck in June OPEC and Russia will cut, having probably seen the oil output from the USA fall a few million barrels a day??? All guesswork but Russia may see this as a nasty oportunity to severely damage the USA shale oil industry.

If we lose the deal is cancelled. IMHO the sp would either hold or re-visit 13p.
If we win IMHO it will be put on hold for say 6 months. I think the sp would improve to 25p plus.

means they have to have borrowed the shares fron somewhere. Thing is if you are a holder it might be you! But your broker will not tell you. If you set a limit to sell your shares, even way above the market price at the moment I understand your broker must have the shares to sell. This would, I believe inpede your brokers ability to lend your shares to the likes of ARCM.
