good trading update a few weeks back still pushing the sp higher (as I posted when it was more like 86p.
Now £1.04. My 2 retail are Halfords and this. Up here about 30%, Halfords more like 50. Halfords had/are still having huge bike sales and now all those mot that had a holiday started to become due (as of 1st Sept) the MOT garages must have bookings days in advance, if not more than a week. mark my words, IMHO halfords sp is going A LOT higher, same as DC.

I'ts huge hastle if you want to send back any product from an on-line store, re-packaging and what.... days if not a week or more before you get a replacement.
If you buy in store from PcWorld and there is an issue you take back and they usually swap for another one why you are there. A few years back I bought a laptop from PcWorls. The LAN lead socket did not work. I took it back same day ans they tested it, confirmed the issue (in 10 mins), then gave me another one. Why I steer clear of buying pc's on line. In fact pc's, shoes, clothes, bedding, furniture etc..... Massive hastel if what is delivered has an issue. MASSIVE.

However the deal needs shareholder approval and if Brent hits $45 plus soon maybe this won't happen.
I don't like this so called merger.

Now people who took advantage of the MOT 6 month holiday are having to get them done, and this was what held the sp back even when bike sales more than doubled.
And there is more to come. Halfords are, I think, the biggerst supplier of electric scooters in the UK. The transpor comittee last week said they need to be legalised and regulated. It just gets better and better.

since June 2020, and has for the most part been $41 to $46 since I think we can draw our own conclusions as to the honesty of the board of PMO. If they were to be believed this level would have been just fine considering they said in an RNS they would be about flat with Brent at $35 FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR months ago. It seems this "merger", if you can call it that was done to rescue PMO, and maybe cover their tracks.............. if PMO went under then the RNS's, if untrue could have resulted in members of the board going to prison. If the merger goes ahead we will never know. I hope it is voted down.

reasons why if you ask me we will no doubt find out in the next three weeks. I find it impossible to believe that PMO's shares are not worth at least 50p a share, bearing in mind my view that the oil price will recover in the coming months. Indeed Brent is $41.92c now after the API reported a tiny build of 900k barrels. Where is this massive build in oil stocks that the market has been predicting for several weeks now? maybe the USA's massive drop in output is having an affect????

ended today @ 16p, and this is around the level it has been since 21st September, 14 days ago. As if the big market players already knew what us mere mortals found out this morning. In fact one might think they did know, and all the details too or the sp would not be at 16p would it! Scandal or what? What's the betting the deal was almost there on the 19th/20th September? Hopefully the FSA will check this out plus ARCM's dealings over the last 6 months.

I'd guess the "real" sp is more like 25p but the uncertainty about the deal is having an effect. That's a guess.
Interesting the high today was only 18p. So this ARCM (who don't have, and never have had any insider knowlege about PMO, honest) who had a short of 6.19% left from the enourmous one they had before (that did not get them any insider information from the board) do? Did they close the 6.19% to make even more money?

today tells us the deal is rubbish for PMO. The 16p says it all.
Also the sp went to 16p suddenly a few days back. Is the FSA investigating this obvious INSIDER DEALING.
I am reporing it to the FSA for what it's worth.

PMO have fantastic assets and if the price of oil goes North of $45 I'm sure the profits will come flying back. Vrent at $50 plus is a realistic view in say 4 months. In 12 months I would not be surprised if oil is $55-$65. Why not........... it has been before on many, many occasions and for many many months. I don't like this deal becasue the sp is still at 16p ish!!!!
We need a large Oil Co. to step up and put a bid in. With the sp @ 16p now a bid @ 32p would win PMO and I would be happy again!!! LOL!

This smacks of PMO chasing the BP deal to cover the real financial position.
They said at $35 they were of untill the end of the year. That was months ago and the price of oil has been way ahead of that. So one concludes they were being economical with the truth. The buck stops with Durant. So is Durant a liar?

so PMO's mad share price and Tullows insane share price must be due to "THE FUTURE".
However the treatment for COVID 19, as Trump has demonstrated has come on leaps and bounds, so maybe the various governments will be less likely to bring in severe restrictions??? If so then the market prediction of what I assume to be Brent lower than $30 will simply not happen. If most people can be prevented from dying by the use of a very, very cheap steroid then the doom mungers for oil are very, very wrong.
Personally I think Brent will stay $40-45 for the time being, ok for PMO and most other oil Companies.

pullout timetable. This is a major conflict In Europe. Azerbaijan has major oil pipelines in the war zones. Presumably Armenia will want to knock them out? Apparently Russia are the best brokers to stop this. Until they do this situation will support the oil price.

1. Shale oil in the USA has suffered very badly and millions of barreles of oil have been removed from the market.
2. The aviation industry is back up and running.
3. Saudi and Russia apparently need the oil price far, far higher to balance their books. Saudi, would you believe need it North of £65 I have read. Astonishing. So there is pressure to cut the supply again. If they don't then I think OPEC will disintegrate and Saudi will pump to max taking the oil price back to $20 or less.
Most likely outcome is OPEC will cut again and the price of oil will go back to $45-$55.
That is my opinion and if turns out to be the case the current sp is a SCREAMING BUY.
