The whole reason for the Arbitration board is to safeguard foreign investment so investors have confidence the investment won't be stolen or some such. This has already damaged India's reputation as a place to invest. Not paying up when the International Arbitration panel has ruled against you is like telling any investor outside India that investing there IS NOT SAFE

show evidence of a negative test 3 days before you travel back AND isolate for 10 days. Holidays abroad are illegal for the time being. The question is what will the Governments policy be in say May? Although Greece and Spain say 2 jabs and they will let you in, what about coming back? If the 10 days stays then if you go abroad tor 2 weeks you will have to take 3 and a half weeks off work or so. looking at the news from Brazil (266,000 deaths to date!) and hospitals overwhelmed I think the 10 days is likely to stay. Might be wrong of course.

As i said, either the Government will let people travel as before covid once they have had 2 jabs, or anyone coming into the uk will have to isolate and have a test to make sure they don't have a variant in which case they will need to take an additional week off work (assuming they have a job!!).
I think the idea of this bb is to make reasonable arguments not insult anyone who posts anything that might be opposite to your position. As I have said many times here before you don't know how old the person you are communicating with is. on this site. They could be a child or teenager or 90 years old.

1. Anyone who has had 2 jabs plus say 10 days for it to work will be able to go on holiday and return home, no isolation.
- This leaves the UK Government open to accusations of possibly letting a covid variant into the UK with possibly devastating consequences.
2. You can go on holiday after 2 jabs and 10 days for it to take. On return you have to self isolate for what... 4 days, then have a test to see if you have covid.
The first option and avaiation shares will fly, excuse the oun.
The second and they will dive as anyone going on holiday will have to add a week to their time off work to isolate and have the test.
I have a feeling the Government will go for option 2 as the country could not stand another 2020.
We will see. If it's 2 the sp will dive back to £7.50 in an hour.

Many people on furlough have renovating their properties as not much else to do.
Now with Summer nearly here and people unlikely to go abroad holidaying at home will be popular.
Beimg around the house at home will mean all those jobs that you were intending to do years ago might get done!!

got to be re-instated at the next results on 17th June (preliminary results). Most people won't be holidaying abroad (especially if you still have to isolate on return, which seems likely). So more money to spend here in the uk on sports/recreation. Cycling and camping have got to benefit. Then driving to your uk holiday destination will be wear & tear on cars. Halford still has a lot going for it. IMHO the dividend must be started again and that will boost the sp over £4.00.

get tested on return from abroad until a vaccine is around that can deal with variants. I have read this is being worked on. I can't see the Government letting people in the country who might have a variant that can get around the current vaccine or we will all be back to square one and another nighmare. People will go on holiday but will have to isolate and get tested. So a 1 week holiday will be 1 week off work plus 10 days on return. 17 days off. 2 weeks = 24 days off work.

Or maybe everyone will have to isolate and have the test until another "covers all variants" jab is available next year? I think the optimism here is very premature. It's likely IMHO that anyone returning will have to isolate and test until a new vaccine has been developed and administred. So not this Summer, maybe next. I really believe this. How could the UK Government let people back in untested when if just one got through we could be having a 1 yr nighmare all over again. It would be dereliction of duty. I fear the isolate and testing will become the norm for the next 12 months,.
