It seems obvious cruise ships will simply book to dock at holiday destinations that are deemed green by the UK traffic light system that will be introduced. They have the advantage that in the event a destination's risk is changed to red they can simply not dock and go elsewhere. Looks like Portugal, malta and Cyprus should be on the green list thus far. No doubt other destinations will become available over the coming months.
Considerable advantage over flying to holiday destination i think.
5% up yesterday, 4.2% up thus far today. Could well be the start of the turn around in the share price.

My view is the cruise line industry will beat the airlines in getting customers back thus reaping the rewards.

If the additional customers at Halfords and B&Q caused by COVID are anything to go by then assuming cruises start happening to the Med and USA before the EU are open for business, which seems extremely likely, I don't think they are going to have any trouble finding customers. That is what I think.

Bottom line is thousands MORE people will be looking to go on cruises.

For someone without a short position you have a lot of negative things to say about carnival!!
It seems obvious to me that millions of people want to go abroad on holiday.
Looks like flying won't be an option, except green light destinations, and then what if you are there on a 2 or 3 week one and the UK Government changes it from green to red!!! Pay the £1,750?? Come home early??
With a Cruise you just get back on the ship and off we go.........
Cruises to the med will be happening won't they? Malta? Cyprus? Portugal?
Then of course the big one.......... America.
There will be Massive demand from people who won't be flying.

holiday destinations, and if they change from green to orange, or even red before the ship gets there the ship will simply not dock. I think the holiday cruise liners are going to be very busy THIS summer. Already pencilled in for the green light we have Malta and Portugal. Also the USA as their vaccine levels are going up fast.
Up 4.5% thus far. I think we are at or very near the turning point here.
