USA, 20% have had 2 shots (as in jabs, not real gun shots - LOL!) so cruises there getting closes and closer. Just take a bullet proof jacket and you will be fine.

low case rates of COVID give it 6 weeks. Joining Israel. UK already has low rates of course.
This should open the door to cruises around the USA, around the UK and between the two.
As I have repeatedly said it is my belief that cruise shipm Companies have a big advantege over airlines.
If you fly to a green Country and the UK Government says it will be Amber in 3 days or whatever you either rush to leave with all the expense or stay and have to self isolate on return with the additional costs od 2 pcr tests!!! EEKK!!!
If already docked a cruise ship could just sail to the next destination. If en-route could divert to another destination.
With the on board swimming pool, bar, restaurants etc. your holiday will continue.

Maybe that was the case but the traffic light system details (that are very bad for the airlines) have only just been announced. As I have said sailing to Green labeled destinations in the med and around the world is obviously what they will be planning.

What is going on?

Government are going to use is going to roger the air lines even more unfortunately. However I think the cruise line Co's are at an advantage as they sail to green designated destinations. If on the way it goes amber they simply DON'T DOCK. If it's announced while they are there it's to go from green to amber they depart. Seems simple enough to me.

With the uk's very low covid rate and the USA vaccinations flying up in anout 2 months time I think the cruise liners will be back in business heading off to UK green labeled resorts. I think cruise holidays will benefit greatly from thise who do not fly.

people that cruise ship holidays are goint to be fully booked cruising to those holiday destinations that will be designated green by the UK government. Airlines need the whole lot open, not just a handful of countries.
