Correction. The post posted itself somehow before I was done:-
My view is Dunelm are doing well.
Why else would the 2 directors have bought £367,000 worth of shares in the last 2 weeks?
Loads of new houses/flats being built.
Loads of people have moved house/flat during the pandemic.
Lots of people at home due to covid refurbished.
People working from home refurbish.....................
Refugees need the basics too!
All sounds like a load of gear needed that Dunelm sell.
They paid the dividend AND A SPECIAL DIVIDEND so take that on board!!
I expect a trading update that will rocket the sp over £14.

They seem confident. Incidently they had a sale on a few weeks back so one presumes they saw the figures coming in from their flashy tills system. IMHO the CEO ain't going to spend £99K of his own money on DNLM shares unless the recent sale went well, umless he is mad?

yesterday up 12% after the rns and presentation. Some expected profit taking this am but was never even negative. All bodes well foe pushing on to the £1.20/£1.30.

Pectrofrac could hardly not be in a better sector, other then maybe defense. We all know the oil/gas and wind power Co's need more urgently..........

Note Brent up to $108. We forget that anything over $100 was considered huge. Now it's the norm, but we forget it's a massive price for oil, about twice what one might expect. Massive £££££££££££££££ or should i say $$$$$$$$$$$$ !

Looking at the chart last April gas price was around 60p a therm, so it's roughly 2.5 times that.
The peak, in March this year was about 460p a therm. In march 2021 it was about 50p a therm so last March it was about NINE fold the normal cost. So we have gone from a peak of about 9 fold down to about 2.5 fold. Needs to be under 100p really IMHO>

after yesterdays 12% rise following the RNS and presentation. In fact I would have expected a slight fall first thing , then say a 3-6% rise by close of play.

if you stop supplying TWO ENTIRE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES with gas then what do you do with the gas???
maybe any other European Counries that could possibly NOT take Russian gas should do so asap. Then Russia will have millions of cubic metres of gas with no-where to sell it...................................... Then the price for the other Countries will PLUMMET..........................imho.
