have been underwritten if the Company's future was not reasonably secure. Easy to forget that after the last trading uodate the sp moved uo from about £6.00 to £7.80 just before the fund raise that has taken the sp down to £6.92. Seems to me the $1 billion reinforces the Companies finances and will give the market more confidence.
We will see by the sp in the next few weeks.

things start to progress then we should get a steady sp increase. But there could be bumps in the road as there often is in business. So I think be patient. I can't see the sp taking off without more progress news. Of course there is always the possibility of a takeover but the chances are still low so assuming that would be daft.

by seling shares @ $9.95. They have diluted the sp by 10% ish by doing this. The sp was £7.80 and would you believe it the sp is down 10% at around £7.00. Hardly shocking. However the last and recent trading update went down well with the market to the extent that the shares went from under £6 to £7.80 before this offering.
So, yes the sp is down 10% as you would completely expect. However they have the money and now we move on. The sp was gaining ground and their is no reason to think that it won't continue as covid has faded and business is improving.

Interesting stuff. Clearly they are taking no chances as the money they have already raised with the offering can be used to pay off 2023 loans due if I read it right.
Unless covid comes back with another nasty one it seems to be they will be ok for the forseeable.
The last trading update went down well with the markets as the sp had risen from under £6.00 here in th UK to £7.80. In fact £7.80 less 10 % is £7.02p, just about bang on where the sp is now.
Hope the market remembers the last update and the fact the shares were moving up quite fast!
If the upward trend continues my £7.25 buy willl soon be in profit.

only willing to underwrite this offering recently, hence the delay since Jan when this process apparently started. As CCL's business has been improving as they have reported I presume the underwriters are now confident enough to underwrite!

I mean if the shares are being offered at £8.31 why don't people buy in the open market @ £7.24? Presumably Goldman Sachs have already offered the shares at £8.31 and got irravocable confirmations?? Like to know how this works if anyone can shed light?

Hmm. The sp has improved from it's low of £7.13 to £7.21. This news was announced last night in the USA so presumably the bigger players have done their sums by now.
The sp is going £7.50 ish by close I think. The market should not forget covid has faded back and the customers are coming back. The sp had improved from just under £6 to £7.82 yesterday. The underwritten open offer equates to £8.31. The current sp is £7.20.
