Only down 0.2% now. I can't see why the sp1 Aug 2022 13:51
won't go back to at least the last leg down level which was about £1.24p, then up back to the previous leg down level approx. £1.44. I mean the Company just confirmed it made £245 million in the 6 months to June this year. I think that was good going considering covid etc!!! Hopefully some of the big players who I presume sold down will get back in soon. All IMHO.
RE: Airlines profitability. So in general is it likely to go1 Aug 2022 13:20
Hamm. Anyone can see the airlines are back in business and at least in IAG's case they are making a lot of money, even after vastly increased fuel costs and a reduced amount of flights. The fuel costs are/will be passed on the the customers. How this complete turnrround can be viewed negatively beats me. All IMHO.
IAG down 0.7%, WIZZ up 1.5%, EZJ up 0.2%, Jet2 down1 Aug 2022 12:15
0.4%. To me all these would be good investments at the moment. All these sp's are very low IMHO. The travel/holiday industry IS BACK. The market needs to realise this! All IMHO.
I still hold some and did not panic about31 Jul 2022 12:28
the suspension while they sorted the accounts out. As I have previously said this is high risk and IMHO having a relatively small amount is the thing to do, if you want. Up to you. Clearly if the Falklands oil dream ever actually happens and ARG are still around their sp will likely go to more than 10p. If you can't afford to lose your investment then don't do it! All IMHO of course.
Nice to see the sp up again. Also the latest covid30 Jul 2022 10:42
wave in the UK is easing off and nearly all who get it just feel ill for it seems 3-5 days. Most people actually starting to forget about covid. All looking good for the holiday sector and travel sectors I think.
The high on Friday apparently was £1.258630 Jul 2022 10:35
and the low £116.48. I fancy we will be re-visiting the £1.25 soon. The results were posted at 7 am and presumably the bigger players digested that by the open. Disappointing it did not end the day up. I'm holding for the £1.70........ All IMHO.
RE: ***OMG***. CCL now up 7.2%, 3.2% in the last few mins28 Jul 2022 17:29
Yes, zoomed to over 7%, then settled back to the current 2.2%. Royal Carribean shares up 5.4% in the USA after their results. Market now closed, CCL up 2.2%
RE: That's it. I think the sp is finally going up from here28 Jul 2022 15:46
Actually make that £10 per share, IMHO. The travel market ****IS BACK*****. Airlines and Cruise ship lines reporting good numbers with better likely in the months to come. All IMHO.
