Friday to, as I type this $93.36 ($14 per barrel drop !!!!) the fuel costs are going to plummet. I can hardly believe the oil price drop, it's astonishing. Putin will not be happy. Airline, cruise ship and most other Plc Companies, especially industrial manufacturers will benefit from this massive price drop.

Airplanes use aviation fuel by the way.
Aviation fuel is refined from crude oil.
If the price of crude goes down then so does aviation fuel.
The fuel that airlines buy "unhedged" is from the open market.
Therefore if the price of crude goes down it is beneficial to any Airline unless they have hedged 100% of their fuel.

Presumably you have a short position.
If you had properly read my post I was referring to the unhedged portion. I believe 40% of IAG's fuel for the rest of 2022 is unhedged therefore they will pay the market rate for that fuel. I'd close your short if I were you.
