short the other day at about £8.00 must be getting nervous. I'm pretty sure they will be racking uo losses if the sp moves over around £8.00 and it's looking good looking at the recent trend.

a director of Rolls Royce. He said the long haul flights are going well or words to that affect. Caught my attention.
Was basically saying there are few if any problems with long haul now. The plane Co's tend to cancel the shorter route planes when they have to cut back. They don't like to mess the long haul about.

The low was £1.05 I believe. I got some at £1.07 and count myself extremely lucky.
Current sp £1.14, more than 10% higher.
After some big players had positions that took JET2 down 10%, then flying back up some of those players will be badly burn't. Looks as if someone put a major short on after the results and then regretted it big big time!!
Don't think they will make the same mistake with IAG.
IAG results are timed better as they will have had another month over Jet2 to see how the land lies.
I expect the pent up demand for holidays to have a massive positive effect.

£8.00, remember that day the sp fell loads unexpectedly, then the next day one of the Co's shorting position went up. So if the sp goes much past £8.00 they will be on a loser and under presure to close the short.
Roll on £8.50!! We could suddenly get a massive boost.

Seems to me £10 a share is easily on the cards.
Maybe Jef Bezos wants to outdo other Billionaires just buying idiculously expensive ships. Why not buy Carnival! LOL!
Who knows? A bid for any Plc is always possible. A bid for CCL I think would see the shares go ove £15 myself.

What the German Govenment needs to do seems to be blatantly obvious. It beggars belief that they still intend to close down 3 nuclear reactors that supply 6% of their energy by the end of this year. Words fail me.

the 3 remaining nuclear power plants that provide 6% of Germany's energy by the end of this year. Are these people TOTALLY NUTS? To me this is total insanity. Mad. Insane. Crazy and indeed in my opinion extremely stupid.
It is TOTALLY OBVIOUS that the Germans need to fire up all their coal power stations and extend the life of the 3 nuclear ones. The altrernative is the very very very real risk that the lights in Germany will go out this Winter.
I think the people making the decisions over there need to wake up as they must be asleep or something.
What about the prospect of Russian tanks coming down the autobarn then????

CCL up again. Briefly dipped under £6 a week or so ago and has been slowly moving up since. Up 3.3% today. Hmmm.

Up 4.2% now. |It's a start but a long way to £1.70. Of course I'll be up a shed load if we do get to £1.70.
