"EC - After 12 years on these boards you really should have learnt by know how trade reporting works.
The MM only report the trade price, not whether it is a buy or sell.
It is against Market rules for them to report it as a buy or sell.
Then sites like this make computer generated guesses at whether it was a buy or sell and publish it as such.
Often, they get it wrong.
So do not go blaming MM's".

I know all that, I think you have mis-understood my post.
I am saying part of the MM's remit is to cover up any big sells or buys. That is fact. The reason, if you do research on the www is a huge buy, or huge sell might influence the market they say. Did you know the MM's can delay publishing a huge buy or sell for up to ten days. Also, they can put it though (show it) in reduced amounts. So, a 1m buy might show up over a day or more as ten 100,000 buys? Today on AGL we had 2 30,000 trades that showed as sells (as interpreted by the guesses the sites make). At that point the ask was Trades 62 and 63 on my screen. They were timed at 12:24:04. They can’t tamper with the time by the way. Trade 25 was timed at 12:24:04 too. At that point the ask was 11p. So, I suggest the 3 trades were one @ 12:24:04 (90,000 shares @ 11p). The MM's delayed reporting this trade so the first 30,000 was shown as a buy and the 2nd & 3rd as a sell. This is because they know how the "computer generated guesses" work. My point is the MM's know the WWW trading sites try to guess but they have all the ammunition to almost screw it up completely.
All IMHO.
