I believe Angle Plc are the only Company in the WORLD that now offer the service of analysing blood (dual CTC and CtDna analysis) for cancer biomarkers from people with cancer. This method finds around DOUBLE the number of biomarkers as opposed to standard CtDna analysis alone. Angle's Parsortix machine can catch LIVE intact circulating tumour cells (CTC’S) which enable the additional CTC DNA analysis.

Good that illumina are now producing assay panels for liquid biopsy.

Presumably, their clients will want to know how to obtain the circulating tumor cell (CTC) sample to analyse.

This is the new Illumina assay panel Angle have spent 6 months working with Illumina on for the dual analysis of CTC-DNA and ctDNA.

"Findings in lung cancer show that CTCs can provide additional biomarkers not found in ctDNA from single blood sample".

"Additionally, combining the findings from genomic analysis of tissue biopsy with complementary liquid biopsy data provides comprehensive insights into tumor biology.".

This is just the start. The dual analysis DOUBLED the amount of biomarkers found and Illumina are obviously very interested.

Finding double what you are looking for using a new method is by any stretch a huge leap forward.

I believe Angle want illumina (market cap $17 billion) to add the CTC/CtDna dual analysis for lung cancer to illumina's site! When this happens Angle's turnover will ROCKET IMHO. Then as things progress add Breast cancer etc... A month since the fantastic revelation that Angle have been working with illumina for the last 6 months to produce the illumina lung cancer assay panel that works with Parsortix.

And give a standard blood sample. Sample sent to Angle Plc same day or next day. Angle do CTC/CtDna analysis using Roche SBX technology, or whatever is fastest by then. Appointment at hospital to see cancer doctor a few days later. Doctor bases treatment partly on test results. This could happen.

CTC's shown here. It also says in effect that Parsortix is the best for obtaining live undamaged **CTC's** for analysis. Only live cells can be analysed for RNA and proteins as I understand it. The only one that comes close is the ClearCell® FX1 System. But that catches twice as many white blood cells as Parsortix and they are not wanted and contaminate the sample. So Parsortix is best. End of.

Circulating tumour cell (CTC)/ CtDna analysis? Just revealed last week Roche SBX technology "Reducing the time from sample to genome from days to hours". So, this may reduce the blood sample to finding the cancer biomarkers to hours instead of the 12 to 24 hours needed for the Illumina processing option, that Angle revealed just 4 weeks ago. At the moment Angles Parsortix machine takes a few hours to catch the CTC’s…….. call it 3 Hrs. Then as I understand it Illumina’s machine takes 12 to 24 hours to analyse the sample. So, a couple of says in total. If Roches claim is correct this could become SAME DAY, or even half a day.
