I have been on the phone to the FCA. They indeed told me there was a warning on Dalton Bailey and they are not regulated with the FCA. Confirmed that their behaviour with me was typical of scammers.

I have got a call from someone saying he was from Dalton-Bailey Associates in New York saying I had a certain number of Shell shares and they were facilitating a hostile takeover of Shell by an un-named multinational. They would sell my shares for me. He said they got my phone number from the FCA. He explained that the takeover insurers would need both the seller and buyer would need to buy a bond (70% buyer\ 30% seller) which guarantees the parties will confirm their participation. Never done anything like this and as Shell is a big company they must be approaching lots of shareholders for this. So I am surprised not to have heard anything about it before. Anyone here been approached like this? Is it genuine?

If you say it about a financial discussion and in front of witnesses in this country is a legal agreement. Also 'agreed' it is likely to mean agreed in a written format, which it would make it even more legal- in this country . of course, got to check whether it's the same in Mongolia

Folio, as you checked on the Tanz ministry website, why don't you paste here the passage saying the licence will be revoked? What does it cost you to paste it here to stop any argument about it?

Yes, Crusty... It should be made compulsory that critical items as placings, licences, and similar etc be made known to share holders. Companies do not have to reveal everything financially sensitive - but there is a lot that they could reveal and shareholders should be aware of for risking their money blindly

Well, I don't know the details of Tanz law. But they cannot force a company with ML to mining. If the Tanz gov has as a condition on the ML that the company who does not mine loses the licence, is something new to me. The worst they can do is not to renew the licence if the company asks for renewal
