Ports,
you can place yourself in Gatemore & Lloyd's camp but you're not in the same league as them... Try to calculate how much they are getting out of this - compared to you - and me. From my point of view DX promised much more than this offer - and it won't be easy to find a similar alternative
Well Ports - there are a lot of things going on we have no access to - like the preliminaries to this offer testify... How do we know what exactly prompted HIC to make the offer right now?... It might well be because of preventing somebody's else move... I feel strongly it could not have been only HIC loitering with intent, surely what HIC has seen in DX has been widely seen by others - so likely more surprises are coming - good ones for us.
I think the minimum offer should have been at least 60... I will not be surprised if we get another offer closer to it...
Oops... bard =board.... though = through
I think it's a weak offer... but if the bard recommends it to members I can see it going though without problems
Are they listed on any exchange?

why next tuesday?
JFFF "However, it does, of course, provide certainty in a very uncertain market. "'.... safety, security, certainty - are paramount.... If coupled with a divi it's a good deal for me
Ex-Dividend Date 21 September 2023
Record Date 22 September 2023
======================
I have always known that I would be entitled to dividend if I sell on the ex-div date.... But Kenmare says you have to hold shares until close of the Record Date.... HL says ::: " To qualify for the most recently declared dividend, you must have bought the stock before the ex-dividend date and still have held it at market open on the ex-dividend date."... Which does not include/imply the Record date. ... So why this difference?... What's you view on this?
Big Blue deserves a lot of thanks and credit for bringing to attention vital information... I never liked the choice of the Kazakh exchange... It seems to me the only ones who will benefit will those who can be be very fast at getting out of Poly in a terminal situation, the IIs and the very VERY big investors using their international connections.
Likely the appointment of a joint broker as per today RNS hints at quite ambitious targets?
Emoplugs
thanks for posting the very interesting link.
The CEO comes across as quite confident and capable.
HivedOff,
Thanks again for your info... I am trying to catch up - I have had my shares since ages ago when Bids was called something else with a broker called SVS who went bust... So much hassle so I just left them untouched with another broker.... Apart from what Bids management say, I am very much interested in other investors' opinion. Do you personally have much faith in the present BOD and Ceo?
HivedOff
Thanks very much for you positive assurance that there is not going to be a placing.
Yes , B3ast, at 0.6 it would hurt enormously... how likely you think there'll be a placing?
Has there been any talk about a placing?... At what price might that be?
