Tomorrow Monday is the date they say they are filing the plan and disclosure statement, another two months until it finally gets confirmed as the “final plan” by the judge

Does that mean tomorrow Monday we (investors) get to see the plan or is it only for the creditors and this is still under wraps

Maybe an RNS and filing on the Kroll website sometime Monday?

@LM, if cost to borrow a share is currently around 100% (per year), how much would that borrowing cost equate to (over a month) if someone bought (say) 250,000 shares at 4p (£10k), what would they hope to achieve by doing this?

Remember if we go down, down to 1p, 2p, zero or whatever… Mooky and his 20% goes down with us ….

Next Monday is the scheduled date for filing of the plan and disclosure statement… does this mean us lower investors will get to see it as it is a docket filed with the court of something different (ie only for the eyes of the creditors)

And should we expect a RNS as well?

I leave it to you my Wolffie bean to search on the word “panel” which appears in one place and clearly indicates they have been in (written) discussion with them as they are asking about lenders interests, somehow those weasel lawyers have found a way to convince the panel it is not a takeover but something else and attention has gone back to how the UK Plc listing remains intact, for good or bad.

Wolff, the world has moved on since Israel’s opening statement, whilst this still acts as a locking mechanism, the advisors - in proposing to the creditors - are at advanced stages of solution finding as you would expect them to be at this stage, there are plenty of comments around “cleansing discussions” with creditors advisors ..

We are in 2023 now not 2022!

Wolffie, you need to get your beans around the latest lawyers bill, some of that info is little over a week old, and it’s obvious they had their hands to the pump working from Boxing Day

A whole myriad of scenarios are being played out, I’m also sticking my neck out that the tax structuring work being done will define things / proposals. Equity trading motion only now gets one mention in the last few days, in broad terms whether still valid (ie the marketing process and possible buyer may now supersede that)

Wolff, not sure if that is the case also, if you look at the latest lawyers bills, there are heaps of alternative finance, exit finance, contingency finance scenarios and how share exits will work with regard to the UK implementation specifically, I think it’s now a slam dunk that investec are running the show with regard to options (that affect shareholders) in the USA, ie a probable USA Listing of Regal

They are also sending emails to brokers regarding latest shareholder register … I’ve long held the view that PIs present a “problem” to their plans as PIs believed to hold upto 30%

Why on earth would the lawyers be discussing with a big 4 tax adviser (EY) the topic of inheritance tax, a personal tax on individuals not a corporate. Wolff any ideas, page 18 of the docket or search on the word “inheritance” - Mooky is about to divest / be bought out on his holding maybe?

Also search on the word “listing” or “uk implementation” or “contingency” (as in contingency planning or contingency funding) also word “exit” (as in exit funding)

You can all search and read but it’s all gifted on a plate to us if you read the latest lawyers bills upto 31 December, so some of the information is only c 7 days old

Search on the word “sale” “investec” or “FCA”, even “buy” or buy backs”, it’s gifted with up to date information what is likely going to happen to us equity shareholders

IanH, I would rephrase that slightly different… Cineworld is currently running a marketing process, meaning one or more parties may be interested, that’s my interpretation. If anyone has other views, happy to hear what these may be.
