Unless Croda are not to be trusted and they have no concerns for reputational damage, SBTX will be receiving royalty payments. The first was in December 2024. Additionally, orders are being worked through right up to the launch. IMHO, Ashman was adopting a chapter out of Trump's "The Art of the Deal." He will work with the best Company that provides the best return for investors. Croda will undoubtedly be in the mix, but it will likely require an upfront payment unless that has changed.

Also, there are approximately 4,305 cosmetic and beauty products manufacturing brands: skincare, makeup, fragrances, hair care, UV-sunscreen, deodorants, oral care, and toiletries.

Sederma has over 12000 cosmetic clients. Matrixyl is used in almost 4,000 cosmetic products worldwide. This is the scope SkinBiotix Lysate has. It is huge.

I exchanged emails with Dominic. He asked for more details and my target price. I also offered his readers interested in SBTX a couple of FOC articles, one of which you received. Initially, there weren't any takers, but the SP has since entered a bull trend, which has prompted some interest from Dominic's subscribers. I have no idea if the article influenced them.

Chris, We’re in frequent yap on the phone—sometimes several times a day—and we’re aligned in our view of Croda’s conduct, particularly after discovering that this type of project typically takes seven years, not the five that Sederma was proudly touting. There’s little point in getting worked up over spilt milk.

However, what does frustrate me is Croda’s apparent refusal to allow SkinBioTherapeutics to confirm via official channels that it has received its first payment—something we were told would happen by year-end. I see no logic in this whatsoever; it damages sentiment and is partly why the share price is languishing when we should be in an exciting phase. I am tempted to join you at Croda’s AGM and speak with the board and vent my frustration over specific details.

I’m not defending Croda—I’m simply explaining the three-year gap to commercial viability. If I were making excuses for them, I’d point to factors like building a dedicated plant, scaling up production, and, well… COVID.

Your focus is on Croda’s delays and the cost to shareholders, which is fair. But if you want to keep looking back, that’s your prerogative. I’m moving on—at least until Croda gives me a reason to kick and scream. And if they do, I certainly will.

Matrixyl is based on well-understood peptide technology, which has been extensively researched and validated in the skincare industry. This existing knowledge base likely streamlined its development process. SkinBiotix involves "novel" applications of probiotic lysates, which require more time to understand and validate their effects on skin healthfully. Peptides like Matrixyl have a more straightforward regulatory pathway compared to microbiome-based technologies. The latter often requires additional safety and efficacy data, which can prolong the development timeline.

SkinBiotix will break new scientific ground due to specific validated claims, whereas Matrixl marketing is old school smoke & mirrors deception with consumer testimony, which, frankly, leans on the placebo effect.

SkinBiotix involves complex clinical trials to demonstrate its safety and efficacy in improving skin health. These trials can be lengthy and require significant resources. Matrixyl, being a peptide, might have had simpler trials focused on collagen synthesis and skin elasticity.

Good point, Bazza. It's my hope the clinical data provided is a sensitive commercial pathway beyond cosmetics, and Croda does not want to share this. It would weaken their hand in negotiations. Of course, they will need to share this with SkinBioTerapeutics. Question is, how does this impact existing discussions with other potential partners?

I have no counterargument to your position, except to clarify my perspective—focusing specifically on the commercial launch and the extreme level of secrecy surrounding Croda/Sederma. Have Croda deliberately kept SkinBioTherapeutics in the dark? Strung them along? It certainly seems that way. In my view, this is precisely why the acquisitions strategy was pursued—it appears to have been a form of insurance against Croda delaying progress for yet another two years. This is the price minow have to endure if they need to climb into bed with a MN.

We are almost on the even of changing the cosmetic market, so I am relatively relaxed.

I think, as investors, we have to trust Croda/Sederma and not sulk too much about the entirely reasonable NDA (not a gag order). If the commercialisation is so successful, we have hyped it; then it isn't worth the risk to discuss too much, or not at all, except for teaser marketing.

SkinBioTherapeutics and Croda advance their collaboration, likely "beyond" cosmetics, and further IP filings related to ongoing or future clinical studies could significantly enhance Croda's competitive advantage. These filings might cover new applications of SkinBiotix technology, such as novel formulations or delivery systems, which could be protected through additional patents. The last thing we need is spoiler IP/Patents being filed by, say, P&G, Unilever, or Beiersdorf, to name just three. This expanded IP portfolio would not only safeguard Croda's investment in SkinBiotix-based products but also deter competitors from developing similar technologies.

The fact we have not seen any additional IP/Patents filed by Croda/Sederma, even at this late stage, is a testament to how safe they are playing it.

Yes, that would be my guess, in part at least. We produced two SBTX updates. One is on industry news, and the other is on a significant investor blind spot. I explored this in some detail. Judging from the SP reaction, I am correct about the blind spot. Oh, and Mr Angry quoted me twice in his bearcast. He did so without the full context, as per. He did so after reaching out with a query. He still took the proverbial. :)

I spoke to SOH yesterday. A couple of emails bounced back. They have had a server outage.

#MEGP FEATURED May 2022 at 71p, when it was previously known as PHTM. It was last updated in the summer at 171p, so with the shares currently trading at 208.5p, I think it’s fair to say we have had a fabulous run. If the likes of Skid35 and his ilk are truly honest about their motives, it is not what we do or the manner in which we do it; it is their hate and contempt for me. They have never met me, nor have I done them any wrong.

I’ve long accepted that personal attacks come with the territory—I stuck my head above the proverbial parapet years ago. However, I draw the line when lies and misinformation are weaponised in a campaign that harms fellow investors. We’ve seen the damage this kind of behaviour can cause, as we did during a similar campaign against me last year. It left its mark on all of us, including SBTX and its executives, at the worst possible time.

I’m not suggesting the share price wouldn’t have taken a hit on the back of the CB, but timely and effective communication could have provided crucial support when it was most needed. Instead, the timing of the messaging was dreadful. What these BBMs fail to understand is that I’ve spoken to O’Hara directly about this very issue. He agreed that the NOMAD overstepped its remit and made it clear he wouldn’t have sanctioned such actions. So, their tactic of bombarding Walbrook and the board with complaints is not only ill-conceived but also doomed to fail.

Should a new ruling come down from the authorities that prohibited any executive from speaking to anyone outside the long-established accredited financial institutions, I would still continue out of the love of what I/we do and the friendships established, making it worth it. It isn't about making money, although we run a business despite the amateur slurs.

The plan is to address the SweetBiotix newsflow in NY. The interview was really about SOH going public. It was not intended to be an extensive Q&A. It ran on for around double the agreed time. I had no intention of pushing him.
