Bozi, I understand what are saying about Scott needing to remain to increase our chances of a sale. What is bothering me about that is given his lack lustre performance so far, I fear that we could make it to 2025 and still haven't had a bid. By then it will be too late to say we should have acted sooner. On ceo.ca someone posted that a class action was brought against him at one of his previous job. That implies that he has form for underachieving. I am willing to wait and see what he delivers by the AGM. I agree with Fort, get a jv on one or more of the other concessions, then he would have redeemed himself. I did not hold back in my emails.

Cascabel could have been separated out, and the other concessions farmed out. 1 reason that hasn't been done is because either no one wanted to take on the concessions if they can't get permits, or solg want to sell the entire company. Scott has to earn his crust and not retain his job becaue we are scared of what might happen if he isnt there. No guarantees. We could wait another year and he still hasn't sold the company.

Bob clearly stated that the company isn't a pump and dump company. Consequently, they will not be focused on the SP which is why SP performance should be part of their KPIs.

Hi Cintsa71, I wouldn't say that I have their ears. I wasn't expecting Bob to respond to my email. I was impressed that he took the time out of his busy schedule to respond to me. Suffice to say, Scott hasn't replied to my email to him. However, I know that he would have received my email and is therefore aware of sentiments here. If necessary, i will call solg public telephone number and ask to speak to Scott. Let us see what comes from the Ecuador elections.

Rest assured that Bob and Scott were given a piece of my mind regarding the current situation. I point you to my post from yesterday where I posted an excerpt from Bob's response. The implication from his response is that things would be a lot worse if the new team hadn't stepped in. We bounced back from covid, we can only hope the we will survive Scott and bounce back again.

It is all very well for us to arm chair quarterback Bob from our position. Like you rightfully pointed out, the buck stops with Bob to get things done. So, we need to give him time to do his job.

However, as I have said to many equally frustrated shareholders, SOLG is 100x in better position today than it was a year ago.

I’ve been invested since 2016, but there were over 6 wasted years, that required a lot of effort to turn around.

We are highly motivated to secure a great outcome for shareholders and have invested serious dough.

We are not in the pump and dump business and know the only way to create real value is through a proper monetization event and working as hard as we can on it.

I don’t know any other team that could have turned around SOLG as quickly and efficiently as we did."

Suffice to say, I believe that we can have a sale without Scott, so I will be voting no. I will not be selling my solg shares. I am holding until the fat lady sing.

NAL, I bought my solg shares long before I knew who Warren was, and been here long before Scott turned up. But if I were to make my decisions based on those 2 guys, that would be infinitely better than taking your advice mate when all you have done here is a poor imitation of a buzzing mosquito. Flying hither and thither with no direction nor focus. How is that deal rumour of yours going? Your happy chappy moment heh NAL.

There are some interesting comments on ceo.ca, 1 I will paste here:

"My initial hypothesis is that there are always investors who have information that most do not have because there are always leaks. I bought Solg shares in March around 14.50 because I thought the company was primed to be sold quickly. First, it seems that the market thought the same thing because the price rose to 22. Then something changed and all the conference calls made by the company didn't change anything, on the contrary! WHY? First of all there was this strategic review. My understanding was that its goal was to determine what was the best option to retain in order to maximize the assets of solg in the interest of the shareholders (For example, maintaining cascabel and perhaps porvenir in a company with the aim of sell it to the highest bidders and bring the rest to another company whose shares would be distributed to the shareholders of solg). Several months have passed and it seems that my understanding was not correct because what the company said had nothing to do with what I thought. Caldwell first of all indicates that there is no fixed time limit for carrying out this strategic review which is strange, then he speaks not only of the interest of shareholders but also of stakeholders which is even stranger. Finally, he does not clearly say that Cascabel/Porvenir are for sale, he even wonders if solg should not participate in the construction of the project directly or through a JV! This is extremely dangerous and in this case the drop in price is not surprising. Another equally negative explanation which would explain Caldwell's change in language is that during the strategic review no company was interested in taking over Solg under the conditions planned by management....So, IMO nothing will change till the management bring CLARITY about their real intentions!"

I thought the Canadians wanted to sell and move on? Now I understand Warren's frustration in that the lack of a bid isn't matching the predictions regarding copper. I fear that there will be raise before a bid at this rate.

Like I have been saying, Scott is not impressing me. He has said nothing to support the share price. Banging about being a shareholder hasn't cut the ice with the market. Talking about 2025, bringing up old problems with BHP, isn't instilling confidence. He needs to get on the phone to the Saudis instead of waiting to be approached like he is a pretty girl at a dance. Time for him to demonstrate leadership and stop talking about rocks.
