Although I have plenty daily reasons to be anti-Aussies, I will be voting for NM out of some sense of appreciation for his previous work at Cascabel.

That said, he did put it out there in one of his interviews that he expected a deal within the next 6 months. I guess he would have updated that time line yesterday if he felt that was no longer achievable.

Did Warren gave you the impression that he is expecting a deal by end of Q1/24 which would be the end of the 6 months duration which he previously mentioned?

Agreed Add. He had the opportunity at the time of the merger and didn't then. Let's hope that it's not long to wait now.

Perhaps Warren sent in his experts to carry out an assessment so that he can say what price he will accept for his shares. Kind of like sending the value surveyors before deciding what price to put the house on the market for. Positive take on why Warren would sending experts in when he had already visited Cascabel himself in the past.

Excellent post Add. Point 6 is indeed revealing. From that I can infer that Warren thought about getting out but wanted to reassurance before making his decision, hence sending in the experts. Clearly he has been reassured and continuing to hold. Not long yo go I think.

DBW, Warren is still holding solg shares which is a good sign. In the interview he stated that if a Explorer start talking about going to production, then he would sell up. It would be nice to get Quady's opinion of Warren's interview re going to production.

Troglodyte, I know simple concepts are beyond you. I have children, sisters, and cousins living in Canada, and I have my family in the UK. Having family members living in 2 countries does not make one having 1 parent a Canadian and the other British. Have you never heard of emigration?

Finally, you saying that you do not have British roots is no surprise to anyone. That factor could easily be deduced from the level of ignorance on display in each of your post.

I am not sorry for what I posted about you. That is my honest belief where you are concerned. Looking at some of the points from the SR announcement:

-A spin-out of assets, other than the cascabel project, to all shareholders.

-The direct or indirect sale of an interest in the cascabel project howsoever effected; or any other transaction or series of related transactions.

Seems clear to me that a sale of cascabel is not off the table, be it part or whole.

For clarity, I never claimed to be half Canadian. I stated that I hold dual British and Canadian citizenship. The troglodyte immediately inferred from that that I am half Canadian. I am a Manchester lad who worked in Canada for 13 years. Life is easier to take up their citizenship. For example, only Canadian citizens are permitted to work for the federal government.

Why would solg confirm that it is not for sale before concluding the SR which is still ongoing?

Surely the aim of the SR is to look at the options which were stated in the rns. So, it is odd that the company would come out and take a sale off the table without concluding the SR first.

I suspect that if that article is likely to cause actual damage to the company, an RNS would be in order.

Fort, I have contacted the company and asked if there is any truth to the Spanish language article that Cascabel is not for sale. The response which I received confirmed that Investors should read and rely on the last detailed press release from the company, and that all options are on the table.

I suspect that someone one is trying to cause doubt leading up to the AGM with that article.

Hi Add, virtual AGMs must be moderated to maintain decorum, and to ensure time keeping. A free for all would surely run over the allotted time, and if my post yesterday is anything to go by, folks would not exercise selective verbalisation of their thoughts given that finance is involved.

If we feel strongly about a particular issue, we can always contact the company directly.

Sadly Red, I have given up expecting anything happening near term more than Scott talking about the Rocks. I am not expecting another streaming deal. More likely they would flog the 157M CGP shares to shore up the balance sheet.

That said, I hope that you are right. I really want to move on from here and not have to be on the same BB as the village idiot from our penal colony.

Totally agree with you Add. The level of negligence which allowed 4M to go missing without a trace exemplifies just how bad things were and left a lingering bad taste regarding the integrity of the then management.

Add, you forgot to mention the missing 4M under NM's watch which still hasn't been satisfactorily accounted for.
