I am surprised that none of the expert commodity investors here didn't know the time line that would be involved with Solg's progress? After all, solg is not the first minor trodding this path!

Basically, the Canadians tanked the SP so that we are all locked in here unless we are willing to take the hit selling up. So now we are doing 2 years+ porridge!

It would nice for the SP to least recover to NM levels so folks can exit this Hotel California share.

How can a figure be agreed without majority shareholders consent?

Wouldn't the BOD be failing their fiduciary duty to shareholders by not ensuring that the best price can be achieved? Surely that would require competitive bidding?

God knows that they need to replace their population to make up for the millions lost in the transatlantic slave trade. I know that with a few exceptions, most African countries are facing economic challenges which their leadership do not appear to be solving. Instead, they loot their countries. I have in mind Isabel dos Santos of Angola as a prime example. I for one have given up expecting anything progressive from Africa as a whole.

Very reassuring indeed. I have a couple of questions:

1-Is ST actually a shareholder in solg, or is he just an employee on a salary?

2-I know that certain major wanted us to run out of cash so that they could get us cheap. Bob eluded as much. My query is, now that the funding shows that we are no longer at the majors' mercy, won't that lengthen the duration before we will see a bid? By this I mean, the majors will be reluctant to pay the higher price which means more tyre kicking because of the higher price.

3-Did you get the impression that Gina is interested?

4-Do you think we are looking at the 2 yrs mentioned before we see some action?

That's just it Paddy, when solg is described as a multi-generational mine, I think they meant for our grandchildren to benefit from us holding this stock, not us.

We can certainly do without the sociopaths taking pleasure from our discomfort due to the lower SP. I hope he is true to his word and stay away.

No BSR, I am not being dishonest. Gated means that the payment of the 750M is staged on agreed deliverables being met. I don't recall reading here where any poster stated that all of the 750M would be transferred to solg in 1 tranche. It's clearly stated in the rns how the payments will be made.

It's sound business principle to manage the risk involved. Franco and Osisko would upset their shareholders had they not taken precautions when lending their money. So, I don't know what you are getting at by repeating what's already in the rns?
