There is a dearth of accomplishments. Hence, no news. It's hard to understand the staunch support for a ceo who decimated the company’s SP. Its like rewarding failure. Standards have fallen in the West, so nothing surprises me anymore.

No one is indispensable. What would the company do should something unfortunate befall Scott?

Scott need to earn shareholders support and to do that, he needs to perform. Decimating the SP and doing nothing to support it is not the way to go. I voted no for Scott and the rest of the dead weights. I voted for NM. We will be here for 4 years. Time enough for a new ceo to step up and do a better job.

Sadly Add, on the premise that past behaviour is indicative of future behaviour, the chances are much higher that Scott The Rocks Caldwell will fail to achieve his milestones. However, if he does, then I will be one of the first to acknowledge his accomplishment. Don't worry, not long to wait. 12 months will pass quickly.

Totally agree 1984. This BB has fast become an hotbed of extremists. Bozi and others of his ilk are holding up the extremely negative end, while Lord Braggart is holding up the über ramping end, interspersed with a dash of boasting about his and his missus shareholding. Then there is Add. I am looking forward to reading what Add will post next December explaining why we should not vote for Scott, assuming of course that Scott survives the 2024 agm.

On the other hand, Codelco wanting to invest in the province where solg is located is a positive sign. All they have to do is bid for solg and they would have their foot in the door. Certainly looking interesting.

Smickster, I am not a spring chicken. I am concerned that I might not be alive by the time something happens here. Worse, I might get dementia and therefore not having the mental capacity to even sell my shares. If I was 40, no problem. I am older than 40. Lord Braggart is in his 70s, I would imagine that he is even more concerned.

Mad Jack, I agree with you that Scott should be booted, and that NM looked after shareholders value. However, I disagree re social media goons. Useless Scott is the root cause of our decimated SP, not social media. Don't you think that if he was executing and delivering that the SP would reflect that? I don't recall a company where the ceo is successfully achieving his/her milestones and yet its SP tanks in response!

Add, I am not alone in dismissing Scott's work. The market also thinks that he is underperforming, hence the ever falling SP.

I was so eager to vote that I telephoned Halifax and cast my vote by that method. I voted no to all resolutions except number 4 where I voted for NM because he found the deposit. That's how fed up I am.

Only if we vote Scott out 1984. With his culture of underperformance, a bailout is more likely than a payout😔

Agreed 1984. I don't know why this BB attracts so many, many odd people here to gloat, and brag about how many shares they and their wife owns and how much they have made. Tacky and classless.

I beg to differ. How can the SP be irrelevant when it is the only avenue available to us should we wish to exit this calamitous investment? How can any of us crystallise value unless we use the SP? The SP is the only important measure of value by which we can unlock our capital. So, I question the motives of posters who discount the SP of a company. I know that every time it goes up a fraction of a penny, jubilation breaks out on this BB. That would not happen if it was irrelevant.

Add, it's just that I am puzzled why an attractive tier 1 appears to be still on the shelf after so many dataroom visitors kicked out tyres. Plus, I thought we were already studied to death? Now there are uncertainties which only more studies can dispell!!

I think if it's true that majors will not want solg to become a major, then having Scott stating categorically that we are going to production should serve to flush out some bids if that thesis holds true.

It's the lack of clarity which I find irritating. One minute we are explorers, next minute we are looking to sell fast and smart, now we have raised money to construct, and don't get me started on that useless SR.

Agreed Quady. It does look like production by solg is the end game here. I just wish that the inept ceo would remove the uncertainty and clearly lay out his plan so that folks are clear and the impression of ineptitude is put to bed.

I am surprised that there is still uncertainty about Cascabel at this late stage. That should not be the case if we do indeed have a tier 1. Or, is the tier 1 status only in solg's BOD minds?
