That would be great news in trying to combat the virus and get things like flights back to normal! I wonder how quickly it can be scaled up (once proven) and if it can be beaten by the mutations.

I've looked at the company website bluebirdmv.com but am seeing something that looks really old. Can someone please confirm if this is the correct website?

I think if you need to travel for business then there will be a onus on the company to ensure you don't come in to work and spread the virus and to allow folk to go about their 'normal' lives as quickly as possible on return. I assume where YGEN are working other companies they will offer a fast turnaround. I could see test to release being used here - pay for someone to isolate for an extra few days or pay for a test. I previously said I thought test to release would have limited takeup due to the limited time it could save you. I think for business travellers who can't work from home it is potentially a benefit. I am not sure how many of those there will be in the current climate.

I assume the Yourgene direct offering for test and release will be largely for international business travellers who cannot work from home on their return. YGEN will presumably be able to offer them a quick turnaround so this could be quite lucrative. I also think they have other great products which need publicising (not sure how).

I have had criticisms of the company and will, I am sure, have more in the future . But YGEN have been addressing these criticisms. For me this is a positive and I still have a holding here. I am sure the folk at YGEN have had some very frantic and stressful days and I would not want them to think I see them in a negative light.

My initial investment was in August at 0.81 after several weeks watching the share, doing research and reading this board. I have added several times at .81, .89, .91, 1.02 and 1.18 (off the top of my head). My initial investment doubled yesterday and I sold close to 20% of my holding. I will add again if there is a significant correction (without obvious justification). I am expecting even greater things in 2021. This BB is a fantastic source of information ( but I always fact check). Many thanks to all the contributers over the last 6 months I hope you all have a Happy New Year. It's publicity - now 'just' got to get Yourgene on all the NHS trusts, genomic hub, private healthcare and covid testing web sites...

Viapath were awarded a 3 year DPYD contract by Hull University NHS Trust in November.

That may be why - I don't know enough to give any rationale. You are obviously better informed in this area - it sounds plausible.

Is the reason for lacklustre performance lack of promotion. I haven't seen folk complaining abour the product range!
I think they need better customer communications and product promotion.
DPYD - I went looking yesterday at NHS England trust info and couldn't find any mention of Yourgene test being used but did find Viapath mentioned on some if the websites. Steve quite correctly pointed me to an RNS (Whuch I should have known about) but still...
Covid PCR test - a pretty much a best in class test but where can Joe Public buy it? Service providers section on website is empty.
I can't comment on other products. K

We’ve been working towards 15189 for several months now and hoped it would come through before the end of the year but it now looks like Jan21. It would normally be a 12 month process but we think we’ll bring this down to 6 or so months.
I’ll have a word with marketing and see if they believe the wording can be changed and updated."
