I don't mind if it takes a little longer than that. It takes time to drill through massive deposits...

It would be nice if they publish an up to date drill plan with the latest mofelling and results after the current drill is finished. I would also like to see a view of the drill plan from above.

I'm hoping for 2 RNSs this week. One to clarify Star zinc licence and, now that CB and QH have a boring couple of days of drilling ahead, one with KCB results.

I believe l so. Despite my last post I am obviously hoping for it to be at least 250m wide at the top and increasing at depth...

In the same interview he mentioned could be 100m deep and 1000m long.. .:-) and obviously it's going to lots of intersections at 0.8% cu and 0.1% au...!

I think I have found where the 250m came from. In the 8th Dec interview Colin said " this porphyry COULD be 250m wide". Note he did not say could be 250m wide at the top.

Apologies I'm probably missing something but I cannot see any confirmation that the width at the top of the cigar is 250m. I have looked at the drill plan and don't see any confirmation on that. I have listened to some (not all) of the interviews and it wasn't stated there (that I heard). I haven't examined all the RNSs.

Is anyone aware if there is something (or a collection of somethings) fairly simple that shows historic drilling locations? The ASX announcement TDR aug 2007 gives results for 5 drillholes but I couldn't see where it said where they were located at bushranger. One has 8.07 g/t of gold but it is only for 2m! Montyboz posted a link to NSW gov resource which has detailed info on 4 Racecourse drill holes but I couldn't deciper what the assay data meant in terms of copper and gold. There is some data in the Apr presentation but it doesn't give locations of the drill. Just curious to see as much of the picture as is available.

I don't suppose they come with any real prospect of generating a profit in the near future?

Just checked RNS and interview for next hole depths
RNS - at least 4 further holes of about 700m length
Interview - orientation of next hole has changed and Colin mentions 6, 7, 800m holes.

The RNS mentions Racecourse rather than licence EL5574 when talking about the buyback. If we get to 2mt on Racecourse then will they split the licence, will they get footrot for free or will we have footrot quantified to some degree before we let them get their mitts near it?

Looking at the drilling diagram and what we know about the mineralisation - I think we will more likely have an average width of the cigar of up to 200m (unless the width at depth is much greater then known). I had the impression that the cigar only decribed the end of ore (ie 2 dimensions) and not the third dimension. I thought the third dimension could be larger. I will go back through the info and see if I can find anything to back up my thoughts. I think some also posted info on previous drill holes - I'll see if there are any further consclusions to be drawn from there.

I think either the RNS or Colin said they would be drilling at LEAST 700m (from recollection - I will check).

I'm not aware of a timeline for the assay results being made known.
Colin had said the expert was doing a detailed analysis of the cores. I assume the report which Colin said will be made available to the market next week will have some further details about quality of cores.

TDR ASX 10th August 2007 states
'The Racecourse Prospect covers A significant copper (and minor gold) mineralized zone of 1000 metres strike length. The tabular mineralized zone varies from 30 to 130m in width and has been intersected to a depth of 350m'.

What does the strike length mean? Does this mean does this mean that one width of this ore body is 1000m ( although not necessarily the qhole croas section runs for this length)?.

What are the vies on hole XXBR-002 as shown on the original drilling diagram. BRD009 seemed to define the depth at the point that hole was drilled. Is there a chance that there are 2 "legs" to this body of mineralisation? Not a geologist so am sure I'm not using the correct terminology and quite happy to be corrected and take on the opinion of experts in this area.

I would be curious to see the calcs. I get the impression a lot of folk here will dissapprove of such a guestimate but to my mind these sort guestimates are what feed into the risk reward scanario for investing.
