These are new licences. I don't know how to get from the new licence no to an older licence number to facilitate a search for historic exploration. I just wondered if these were previously AA and if the plan was to flip them too. CB gained from the deal as he was a co vendor for African Pioneer Zambia but this apparently private company has kept 20% so I assume they are anticipating more upside.

The TIR RNS announcing purchase of these licences in Zambia also announced licences being purchased in Botswana to be flipped to Sandfire.

Has anyone got a devious method for finding history of exploration or ownership of licences in Zambia. African pioneer (Tiger Royalties) are puchasing an 80% interest in 4 licences (from African Pioneer Zambia) in the vicinity of our licences. I would like to see previous ownership/exploration of these licences.

I think we do need an RNS. I realise NVS has responded to your email but that cannot be relied upun by investors. I have been invested in another company with a resource in Zambia where licence changes occurred, informal director comms reassured investors all was well, it eventually was announced that the resource had been relinquished for a relatively small sum plus a 3-4% royalty. In this case the director ignored emails from investors for approx 6 weeks. I assume this is all ok but considering there appears to be a couple of news articles we need an RNS for reassurance.

I assume the scoping study details what assumptions have been made about the ore resource for Kalaba and Cheyeza East and wanted to have a look.

Anyone know where I can access the Proof of Concept Study?

African Pioneer Zambia was incorporated in Sept 2020, applied for 5 new licences in Oct/Nov and and agreed to sell to sell 80% of the licences in March for £1.925m. CB and RS are owners of African Pioneer Zambia. Seems like excellent returns - I wonder why African Pioneer didn't apply for the Zambian licences directly.....

Considering the outcome of the Star Zinc saga in Zambia it is interesting that African Pioneer are going to purchase 80% of five new licences in Zambia for £1.925m. These licences are currently owned by African Pioneer Zambia ( I assume a private company) which CB and RS are co vendors for. These licences were applied for and granted in Oct/Nov 2020.

Includes at 6:25 'amount of cashflow coming into Xtract is never going to be large from Manica' and another statementat about 8:10 along the lines of inflation may mean deals become more difficult.

Maybe his contract of employment has been updated to bar him from doing any PR for Xtract....

Thanks for pointing out that its from one of our directors It does seem very odd considering the article lists a number of aim companies that should benefit from the surge in copper prices and looks like a list that Xtract should fit in very well. He does mention Lachlan Fold. ODD.

There are a few licences adjacent to our licences that have very recently been approved for granting. It is difficult to judge how the negotiations might be going but I suspect anglo would want more than a couple of prospects before they move into a new area. I couldn't find any info on the owners of the new licences but am fairly new to investing in aim mining/exploration companies so may be missing something obviius.

'An AIM company must take reasonable care to ensure that any information it notifies is not misleading, false or deceptive and does not omit anything likely to affect the import of such information. '

To my mind the angle and location of the drill hole affects the import of the assay results. Therefore this info should be released with the assay results.

Having skimmed through SFR quarterly update I found the following statement about missing the drilling target interesting. There is also a nice diagram in the report that illustrates the issue rather well.
'During the Quarter, Sandfire commenced deep drilling to test the mineralised NPF contact at the western end of the A4 Dome, approximately 1km west of previously reported copper intersections. Hole MO-A4-150D intersected a wide down-hole interval of weakly disseminated chalcocite and bornite mineralisation, with true width unknown (Figure 3). The hole lifted significantly and failed to intersect the NPF contact and a follow-up hole with a rig more suited to controlled drilling is currently being planned.'

This does add to the credibility of keeping the same drill team/company if they are doing a good job. It did make me wonder how the drill team know how closely the drill has followed the target hole - can anyone enlighten me?

How do you interpret the following sentence?
'The Company will report on the assay results as they are received and collated.'

From 6th April RNS
'Logging and core sampling work is continuing and laboratory assay results for the second hole of the programme (BRDD-21-002) are expected shortly, with results for the remaining completed holes to follow in batches. The Company will report on the assay results as they are received and collated.'

Are folk suggesting we shouldn't rely on anything in an RNS?
