@Indigo2015 The company must have had the samples from Utah to tweak the process by now, so would they not be in a position to state whether or not the product from Utah would meet the requirements of being classified as ultral low sulphur fuel. Bear in mind that there is a market for fuel for river boats on the major inland waterways of the US.

As far as I am aware the undergound drilling and bulk sampling should conclude this week and I would hope that the company will make an announcement to state this. This is based on their statements near the resumption of exploratory work in early October after a weeks' break. Originally I had worked on the assumption that the test results would have been published about 2 weeks after the end of site investigation based on timescales of geotechnical investigations I had been involved in in the early 90s. However, the results of the previous samples tested at Clogau took two months. Working on that then I am expecting the assay results in late December, or early January. In the meantime I expect MMs will be doing a lot of "tree shakes", deliberately dropping quoted prices on thin volumes in an attempt to trigger private investor's stop losses. This is usually accompanied by negative posts on bb such as this which are not substantiated by any factual news. If I was a cynic, I could conclude that the accounts from which such posts spring from are "under the influence" of such MMs as they seem to be coordinated. Of course it may also be investors holding short positions.

That is not to say that all "negativity" is irrational, there remains a fair amount of risk as theire are many uncertainties. Its up to you to weigh up these factors and come to your own conclusions as to the likely outlook for the company and whether or not your analysis is compatible with your own unique personal investment goals, circumstances and attitude towards risk.

I trawled through RNS since last accounts and concluded there were only about 20k worth left at 0.13p
The ones at the .4ish mark are largely employees inc directors (and i dont see them selling ahead of the results)
Others are 0.55 with a 1.1 accelerator

@RobSaunders ... quite possibly so, however, sometimes it is absent only a relatively short distance away, or mineralised with something else .. copper lead silver etc. I think this is the case in the south at Dolau Cothi. Some exploration was done around the district about 20 years ago I believe, where galena was found only about 1 km along the same stratigraphy to the north east. But really thats a question for the phase that encompasses the wider area of the licence.

there are sites with little or no commission , given that a PI has pennies to gain from a £1 investment then I believe that less than transparent MMs or shorters are using it to distort the mid price for the reasons I note below

with a wide spread (totally at MM control), validated by very low value transactions then the mid price is a misrepresentation. As all that is recorded is trade price ask and bid then it's the sites that determine if its a buy or sell relative to the midprice., then volume of investor sales v volume of investor buys can be manipulated.

Potential customers for the Utah product are end users of oil e.g. industrial power plants / boilers
Given the sweet nature of the ensuing product, I believe it may conform to the requirements of ultra low sulphur fuel oil (ship fuel) but at a lower cost to the customer. Long trains with standard shipping containers would be the method of export I would imagine

Tree shake patterns that I've observed recently on Alba and others is a slight lowering of ask price with a large lowering of bid price, a plethora of micro value transactions. When they are filtered out then the actual number and range of trades are diminished, but tending towards the bid price, indicating they are mainly investor sells (probably stop losses). At the same time negative sentiment posts are made on PI bulletin boards, which are generally subjective and emotional in nature and are seldom if ever backed by any fundamental verifiable facts. The following day some chunky buys turn up on the trades board some 12 hours late. I dont know what the rules are regarding market manipulation, but this practice stinks.
