I’d suggest that this reads more than ‘nicely’!
This really should spark a significant rerate. The fundamentals here are fantastic :)
When you consider the size and tech/growth nature of this company, the current SP stability in what are very volatile market conditions is quite remarkable and bodes very well imo.
I’m absolutely staggered by the reaction on here.
Up nearly 10% while markets tumble on the news that Omicron is spreading like wildfire in SA.
The results are great, the company is making loads of money, the directors are being handsomely rewarded for a great performance and there is so much promise of much more to come.
I’m not sure in what world some of you are living but it doesn’t seem to be the same one as me.
I’m not complaining about it, but does anyone have any intelligent thoughts on the dramatic sp rise?
I haven’t posted on JLP before but I regard some of the posters on here as some of the most knowledgeable and useful contributors to LSE.
However, my casual observation is that there is too much concern over company updates. I am a lth in all of my shares, I’m in it for early retirement rather than short term profit. I have other shares that are being constantly pumped by PR teams, RNS’s that aren’t really worth the paper they’re written, causing sharp gains and falls.
I actually prefer the JLP approach. Sure the share may be undervalued in the short term, but over the long term, growth and numbers will do the talking.
Constant fixation on updates and the date of results seems to be counter productive. Be like the Fonz, be cool.
This may explain why the sp took off yesterday afternoon. Thank you for this.
Long term looks very exciting for TGR. Will be interesting to see what the short term brings.
There are very few certainties when it comes to the market Astro, however that question I can answer with some certainty: when you stop checking on the sp.
The point in holding fledgling growth stocks like this, is that it can take years for the potential to be reached. That’s why it’s good to pick a few and sit on your hands. GL
I also hold TGR & JLP. If successful, the gr-al composite being developed by TGR could potentially dent global copper demand; but it’s a massive if. Definitely worth keeping your ear close to the ground though.
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. If PRSM hits its forecast break even this year then the current SP is clearly undervalued. The market and the shorters are clearly betting that it won’t.
I’m currently out of PRSM but keeping a very close eye out for when the tide turns.
A lot hinges on the Al-gr development and testing.
If it is as successful as is being touted then it will make us all rather well off. If not then we still hold a very good asset. I don’t expect big movements in the short term.
Clearly you didn’t catch my drift. The directors see far more potential in a NYSE listing as ‘LSE do not not understand tech.’
The directors may end up buying but it won’t be on the LSE, if you catch my drift. The CEO has made his feelings pretty clear about this.
Haha very well put. Still amazes me how easily negative sentiment is sown amongst private investors. Especially when a company is as misunderstood as BP!
Xbb, I don’t mean to sound contrary but your post is not correct.
RPA doesn’t work like you suggest. A company like Telefonica could not simply switch to Ui path, Microsoft or any other RPA provider without causing enormous disruption to its operations. This is why BP customer retention is so good.
The challenge will be to continue to add customers, but make no mistake, RPA is here to stay. BP only needs a small piece of the pie.
