This is all about sentiment now. The war will not be over anytime soon, that’s a reality we must all accept. If the temporary suspension imposed on Evraz is lifted as it is deemed that we cannot sanction a publicly listed company due to a sanctioned shareholder with a non controlling stake (logical in my view), this will fly to £5 in a heartbeat. That’s what we should be waiting for, not for Putin to come to his senses.

I think that once people realise that you cannot sanction an entire public company because of non-controlling shareholder the sentiment will change rapidly here and POLY

Why ppl are fixated on the dividend here and Evraz boggles the mind.
Id honestly prefer that neither company paid dividends until the war and restrictions are over. If these companies return to anything like their normal value then we’ll all be stinking rich!

Strange lack of volatility, nervousness on both sides of the fence.
The question for me is: Where will this company be in 5 years?
Doomsday scenarios are possible in the short term but are they really probable? Every release from the company is level headed and reaffirms commitment to LSE, so we are talking either Putin or UK government stopping the company in its tracks... lots of fear, some justified but making money from stocks is often a case of keeping your head whilst all around are losing theirs.

I think there’s lots of long term holders (like myself) who have sold out to try and make some short term profits elsewhere due to current circumstances.

This share must be making some of ppl very rich. I got in at 110, so a way to go for me :(

I got in at 250, seems I seriously underestimated the idiocy of the ESG brigade.

I put a limit order in at 265 just before close but the contract price was 252… crazy times.
Figure I’ll either lose it all or double my money. Proper punt territory this one.

Good news travels slowly apparently! Not going to wheel out the old Buffet quote about patience but it’s so so true.
