I can and will, but as you well know, this news is still pretty fresh, so wind your neck in. Perhaps you should do some due diligence over at CNR as well. Like it or not, we may share the same fate.

"Current operations" are scheduled to run out of gold to dig up after another year or two, isn't that the case? Is there a plan for what to do next? Oh yes, there is, and Condor is it. If not Condor, then another aquisition of some kind. But whether you know it yet or not, you're getting a lot for your money from CNR, and the CNR shareholders know that. Could you get it cheaper? Maybe, maybe not. Let the market decide. Not sure why you're taking it so personally.

Humm, you seem to be spoiling for a fight. Perhaps you are the gobby minority on MTL. In any case, I don't really care. Believe what you like. If you don't like the deal though, you'd better take it up with your own BoD, since they seem to be in favour. I am unclear at this stage whether MTL shareholders get to vote on the deal. CNR's will I'm sure.

Yes, I believe so, but check-out our latest RNS. I think it is critical. That undertaking will only take effect if CNR BoD recommend the deal to CNR shareholders (a point not made at all, no matter how unclearly by the MTL RNS). At that point, it's like completing a house purchase - both sides are truely committed and there are stiff penalties one side try to back out. The BoD would only reccommend the deal to shareholders if they were pretty damn certain that there were no better options. So there's still life in this yet.

The MTL BoD have thought about it carefully, hence the RNS. You don't put one of those out for the fun of it. Or do you mean the MTL shareholders? That would be a fair point - do MTL shareholders get to vote on the deal, or just us???

Perhaps you should check out the CNR LSE board, if you doubt what shareholders opinions are. Agreed, the vote may well tell a different story - when all's said and done, most will go in the direction the BoD tells them to, but it's far from clear what that may be. Some interesting nuance provided by CNR's evening RNS. Not quite as your RNS made it seem...

Rather (exceptionally) short-sighted to worry about a 6% drop in MTL's SP today, compared to the many millions La India will make when in production, but there you are. Regardless, you may get your wish. Seems the story may not be over yet either way.

You're probably right Jaxon. I certainly hope you are. Once TK is signed-off, we'll all feel a lot better, that's for sure.

It's as much about trust as anything, and HAA giving it the old "TK closure is days away" spiel (again), and then dropping this BS seriously erodes invester appetite, even though it may well all turn out fine in the end. Probably not even worth looking between now and the New Year. Unlikely TK will drop in 2024 IMHO, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

There's only a couple of weeks left of Q4 anyway, so it was already starting to look like a stretch. As to what the new target will be is anybody's guess. Would be very strange for TK approval to land in the next week or two after this latest debacle though.

If it goes through. You may have JM's shares, but as you say, the rest of CNR's shareholders are not happy, so we'll see...
