The amount MC and JM bought was less than the total amount sold by the II. Therefore the MMs have more than the usual amount of float on their books, which will need to be bought up before any serious rise. Must be just about gone by now though.

FWIW, I use Google Finance, which tends to more accurately report the actual last trade price, and with no delay to boot I think.

The price reported is just the price of the last trade - 20000 yesterday at 28p. All the rest of it is just poor quality data, ignore it.

I would be interested to know what would be the worst-case scenario here? That the IFC drop the project entirely, sell all their shares (or more likely sell them to JM or RB) and don't fund the project? A set-back for sure, but the mine will be funded some other way, so the very very worst-case scenario still doesn't see the mine being blocked altogether? Thoughts?

At the end of the day, I don't think I've seen anything worthy of my respect from the anti-CNR groups. Property damage (the drill pads), unfounded (as far as I can tell) accusations (such as wells have run dry (which may have happened) due to CNR drilling (I highly doubt that)) and in general a disengenous and barely-honest approach (such as continuing to bang on about relocation well after they knew as well as we did that the idea had been dropped) and that the majority of locals are against the mine (hard to be certain without having ears on the ground, but the PC seemed well supported).

I would hope that the IFC and their representative/s in this case have seen it all before, from both pro-mining and anti-mining points of view, and know what bullshit smells like. I hope we can trust them to make a fair and informed decision either way.

Trouble is,we know that protestors have damaged property and tried to disrupt the PC in the past. Without any police presence, I dare say they would attempt something similar. I don't disagree that it seems heavy-handed, but I'm not sure it would have been wise to have nothing at all either.

So the 900-odd K is a buy then? So the 1.1M seller could have just handed them over to MC and JM and avoided the SP chaos?

The 2m shares have been sold over the last few weeks (hence the recent drop), not all today. Trades are only reported once they are complete.

I think some on here are starting to lose the plot TBH. Disapointment and frustration turning to bitterness and resentment. Toxic relationship that they somehow can't just leave.

I understand you're frustrated and disapointed, we all are, but moaning about it isn't going to help. If anything, it may put off any new PIs having a quick look.

We're likely only down at these levels due to an II selling up. We don't know anything about who or why yet, but the last time around, it had nothing to do with CNR specifically, and once the selling was done the price rose from about 19p in January to over 80p in August.

The price should bounce once the seller is done, probably back to the mid-forties. Pretty good relatively short-term opportunity there just for starters. I'm a buyer at these prices. Yes, could go into the teens, but that'll be a temporary anomoly, not a new normal.

The difference is that an anonymous poster on a BB can speculate freely. MC cannot. He may however be thinking along similar lines.

I'd feel a bit happier about the volume if the price was trending upwards. High volume and a sinking price is not typically a good sign. Still, with such low liquidity for CNR in general, may not mean as much as on shares with greater liquidity.

You've honestly got the wrong end of the stick. You erroneously jumped to a conclusion that Hanlon's Razor was an attack on you, which it wasn't, and then imagined further attacks. An unfortunate misunderstanding. I suggest we leave it there.

Ah, I see the numbers you mean - I automatically skip straight past those to look at the actual trades, and figure the real spread out from that, as the reported number are meaningless! lol Perhaps I have made your point for you! :-)

Still, the real spread is quite small, I don't know how or where LSE is getting it's numbers from and there's clearly just a bug in your MoneyAM figures that's reporting things twice for some reason. None of it is really evidence of a conspiracy though, just humans and the systems they build being a bit crap (see Hanlon's Razor below)!

Not sure what you're seeing Bottmzup. Spread looks like 30.00 to 30.57, which is not "vast". We all know the reporting of buys/sells leaves something to be desired, but it's not proof of a conspiracy, and where are you seeing the double trades reported? I can't see them on LSE?

Somewhere on the scale between pointless and dangerous IMVHO. Pointless because concentrating on the BFS and mine construction is exactly what they are doing, as far as we know, and dangerous because admitting that "whatever CNR does never gets reflected in the share price", is hardly the sort of statement that is going to fill investors with confidence. We *are* (a small part of) the market and giving the middle finger to the market is not a smart move IMO. I can't see the share price rising off of the back of such a statement, but it could very well fall.

I don't think we'll hear what the deal is on finance until the ink has dried on the contract. If I were MC, I wouldn't want to paint myself into a corner, or risk making promises I couldn't keep, by stating my intentions ahead of time. He needs to keep his options open until such time as the deal is done.

The profits from the gold production should do the talking in time, but that time is not now and until then the market is what it is. It may however be an ideal time to accumulate for the longer term, if you remain confident in the future of the company.
